The morning sun pierced through the windshield as I hesitantly climbed into Renzo's flashy ride.

The leather seats cradled me, but I couldn't shake the unease creeping up my spine as Renzo revved the engine, a devilish grin on his face.

"Put your seatbelt on" he says without even looking at me.

"No". I replied

Why did I say no ....even I don't know I just didn't felt like doing what he said and I was a complete idiot .

"Selene, Put. Your.Seatbelt. On." This time he commanded it while staring inside my damn soul.

"Who the fuck do you think you are, ordering me around like th-" WTF, Renzo's suddenly leans towards me sending a shiver down my spine, those piercing eyes locking onto mine.

"Hush, you talk too much," he whispers in my ear, fastening my seatbelt with a rough tug.

I instinctively turn my head away, feeling the prickling discomfort and embarrassment creeping up my neck.

He was so close that I almost choked on my own thoughts.

"Whatever," I mutter under my breath, my annoyance simmering just below the surface.

Aghhhhhhh, what an asshole, I fume inwardly, resisting the urge to glare at him as he smirks before driving off.

"Where are we headed, Renzo?" I asked, my tone laced with skepticism as we peeled out onto the street.
Renzo shot me a sly smile, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "It's a surprise, babe," he replied cryptically, his foot pressing harder on the gas pedal.
I gripped the edge of my seat, my knuckles turning white as Renzo navigated the bustling city streets with reckless abandon.

"Please tell me you have a license," I muttered, half-jokingly, half-terrified.

Renzo chuckled, his eyes fixed on the road ahead. "Relax, Selene, I've been driving since I was twelve," he boasted, his confidence doing little to ease my nerves.
We screeched to a halt in front of a towering black building, and my jaw dropped at the sight of it.

"What in the world, Renzo?" I breathed, staring up at the imposing structure in disbelief.

Renzo led me inside like he owned the place, his swagger on full display as we made our way through the corridors. I couldn't shake the feeling that we were walking into something way over our heads, but Renzo seemed unfazed by the whole thing.

Finally, we reached a secluded corner of the building, and Renzo turned to me with a serious expression.

"Listen, Selene, I've got something to tell you," he began, his voice low and urgent.

I furrowed my brow, my curiosity piqued. "What is it, Renzo?" I asked, my heart pounding in my chest.
Renzo took a deep breath, his gaze locking onto mine.

"My family... they're involved in some... complicated business," he admitted, his words hesitant and cautious.

I frowned, trying to make sense of what he was saying.

"Complicated how?" I pressed, my mind racing with a thousand different possibilities.

Renzo hesitated, as if choosing his words carefully.

"Let's just say they have a lot of influence in certain circles," he replied cryptically, his eyes darting around the room as if someone might be listening in.

My stomach churned with unease, a thousand questions swirling in my mind.

"What does this have to do with me?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Renzo reached out to take my hand, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through me.

"I need your help, Selene," he confessed, his eyes pleading with me to understand.

I swallowed hard, my mind reeling with the weight of his words.

"Help with what?" I whispered, barely able to comprehend what he was asking of me.

Renzo leaned in close, his breath warm against my ear. "I need you to join me," he murmured, his words sending a shiver down my spine.

"To be a part of something bigger than ourselves."

My heart pounded in my chest as I struggled to process what he was saying.

"But what about my family? What about school?" I protested, the reality of his proposition sinking in.

I know my life is too boring and I want some drama in my life, but this....this is a whole fucking movie.

Renzo squeezed my hand, his gaze unwavering.

"Selene, I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important," he insisted, his voice tinged with urgency.

"Think about it, Selene, you've got skills that could take us to next level,"He said with hope in his eyes.

Yeah boy, I got the skills and looks innit .Wait but I can't really just be going around doing some shady shit .

I bit my lip, torn between the pull of the familiar and the allure of the unknown. "I need some time to think," I replied finally, my voice barely above a whisper.
Renzo nodded, his expression filled with understanding.

"Take all the time you need," he said softly, his eyes never leaving mine.

''Oh yess I forgot to tell you, we are going to pay you a good amount of bread .'' He quickly adds up.

Shit, the word money always makes me weak and when my family is in need of it ....it's a tempting option.

As we left the building behind and drove off into the unknown, I couldn't shake the feeling that my life was about to change in ways I never could have imagined. I knew I was ready to face whatever the future held, even if it meant stepping into the shadows of the unknown.
