Chapter 10: Almost Love Bloom

They eventually arrived at the Capsule Corporation when they met up with Bulma a the front door.

"Goku! Gohan!" Goku and Gohan saw Bulma running towards them, so they embraced each other. She squeezed them even tighter. Though his body has built up, she doesn't squeeze him too hard.

"We missed you two so much," Bulma cried out.

"We missed you, too," Goku said as he let her go.

"You had been gone for a year! Where have you been!?" Bulma cried out.

Goku looked away, remembering Chichi's betrayal. "It turns out Chichi called the government intervention on us by abandoning us. Piccolo was with us for a year."

"Piccolo, too!?" Bulma said in shock. "Why did Chichi do that?"

He sighed sadly. "It's because she doesn't accept our species after I told her who I really am. Even with Gohan who is a half-alien."

"That's horrible! I never knew Chichi would betray you both like that!" Bulma said.

"It turns out we were rescued by the two Sailor Guardians," Goku said, showing Bulma to them.

"Hi, I'm Usagi."

"And I'm Makoto."

"It's a pleasure to meet you both. I'm Bulma Brief." Bulma said.

"Likewise, Bulma," Usagi said, smiling.

"How did you meet them?" Bulma asked, curious about how Goku met all these two girls.

"How about we go inside and talk about this?" Goku asked. All of them went into the Capsule Corp and he began to explain everything to Bulma.

After explaining everything to Bulma, now she understood their situation of saving the three Sailor Guardians from the evil monster Frieza who ruled the galaxy. Bulma also agreed to build the spaceship for them but stated that it would take a while for her to build it. They understood her, so they let her take more time to build the spaceship. After that, they decided to stay one night at Bulma's place.

Right now, Goku was done showering as he came out of the bathroom and entered the bedroom to change his pajamas. He let out a sigh of exhaustion. He had a long day traveling after they had escaped from the hellhole they had been imprisoned.

I wonder what we can do in the future after Frieza is gone and the Sailor Guardians are saved? Goku thought as he collapsed on the bed.

Then he heard a door knock, awaken him from his thoughts.

Goku sat up and said, "Come in."

It was then Usagi came in. "I came to check on you."

"That's nice of you for checking up on me, Usagi, but you don't have to do that," Goku said, letting out a smile.

"Well, I only came here to talk about it," Usagi said as she went to sit next to him.

"Of what?" He asked, confused.

"Well... your wife. Well, if you don't want to talk about it, then I understand." Usagi said.

"You can talk about it if you want to," Goku said.

"When we defeated Frieza and rescued the girls, what will you ever do with your life? Even with your wife Chichi? Since she abandoned you both." She looked at him with a questioning look.

He sighed as he looked away. "I probably planned on bringing Gohan with me moving into the Kame House with Master Roshi and Krillin. Chichi sighed for divorce and gave Gohan away. I knew for sure that her reason was abandoning us for money. Well... I don't have a job or money. I never understand why she would do that to us."

"I'm sorry you had to go through this," Usagi said, feeling bad for him.

He smiled at him. "You don't have to feel bad about it. Now Chichi abandoned us, we would have a new life without her. I even had to take care of Gohan as well."

"It sounds like you were ready to move on from the past, but it sounds wise sometimes," Usagi said.

Goku nodded. "Yeah."

"Well, I should head for bed." Suddenly, when she was about to leave, she accidentally tripped over the pile of gi clothes and fell, but Goku managed to grab her hand and pull her to the bed. The next thing he did was he accidentally lay on top of her. Their face began to blush heavily.

"Are you okay?" Goku asked awkwardly.

She nodded shyly. "Y-Yeah..."

"I'm sorry. You should go if you want to." Goku said as he let her go. His face was still red as he had to hide his face from her. Usagi does the same way, too.

"I'm sorry for not putting my clothes away. I completely forgot to put them in the washing machine." Goku said.

"It's okay. I should get some rest." Usagi said before leaving. It was then she froze as she sensed a sinister ki that she didn't like the feeling. Goku felt the sinister ki, too.

"They're here," Usagi breathed out, panicked.
