Chapter 13: Confronting Chichi

Goku, Krillin, Usagi, and Gohan arrived in no time at the Capsule Corporation to get Bulma to Kami's ship so she could investigate and fix it. However, it would take a while for her to restore the ship as they recalled that from Bulma. Now they had to bring her to Kami's ship to get it restored, but she suggested bringing the ship to the Capsule Corporation so she could rebuild it.

After a while, Goku decided to go get something to eat at the restaurant feeling hungry. Usagi and Gohan decided to go with him to get something to eat. It was then Goku never expected someone, which confused and worried Usagi.

"What's wrong?" Usagi asked.

"It's Chichi..." He pointed at where Chichi was at. He found her going on a date with another man, which broke his heart.

"That's your wife?" Usagi said, shocked.

He sadly nodded. "That's right. Now it looks like she was happy with someone else."

"By replacing you!?" Usagi said, looking at him shocked.

"It looks like it," Goku said, feeling heartbroken.

"Goku, you can't let her do this to you after everything she has done. If she cheats on you, you might need to confront her for that." Usagi said with a serious look.

"What if she's not? After she abandoned us, she got what she wanted: a new life with a new family. I'm fine with that." Goku argued.

"Goku, what the hell are you doing here!?" Then they heard a screech questioning him, which made Goku flinch. Now they were facing Chichi.

"Mommy! You're here!" Gohan let out a happy joy as Usagi had a bad feeling Chichi wasn't too happy to see them again.

"Mommy? Why did a brat call you mommy, Chichi?" The man who is Chichi's boyfriend questioned him with a confused look.

"Excuse me? That's my son you're asking about!" Goku said now in anger.

"Wait... is that your husband? Chichi, what is going on?" He demanded the truth.

"I have no idea, but these fools are not my family. I don't even know them." Chichi said.

What!? Goku thought, widened his eyes.

"But, Mommy, you do know me and you know Daddy as well. You've been taking care of me until you gave me away a year ago." Gohan wailed.

The man blinked in shock as he looked at Chichi in disgust. "What!? Is this true, Chichi?"

"No! His father should have raised him by calling a complete stranger a mommy!" Chichi tried to convince him as she could.

"I should go." Then he took off running away.

"No! Wait! You can't leave me!" Chichi pleaded with him to come back, but it was already too late for that.

"Chichi, what is going on and why did you lie to a random guy about this?" Goku demanded, glaring.

Chichi growled at him in anger. "Thanks a lot, Goku! You blew it away! Now he is gone, I won't be able to have money!"

"What are you talking about!?" Goku argued. This was the first Gohan saw his parents fight, so Usagi had to take him back to the Capsule Corporation immediately.

"It's none of your business! You should leave me!" Chichi shouted.

"Chichi is that how you replaced me with a random guy you just lied about!? Is that the reason you abandoned us for him!?"

Chichi grew a smirk. "Yes, Goku, I did. After the truth you told me, I eventually got rid of you both, so I could be with my new boyfriend. Now I had a new life after disposing of you, I am glad I didn't want to see you freaks in my life again. You two should go back to the government intervention where you belong!"

How could this be to me? How could she hate us who we are by replacing us with a new guy!? And how dare she call us freaks!? Letting out his anger, he eventually stood up for himself and faced Chichi.  He slapped her across the face. Chichi was shocked to see his actions for the first time as she held onto her left cheek. She had never seen him so furious before, which scared her a bit.

"You have no right to call us freaks! I did everything to care for you and our son and make you happy! Is this how you repay!? I promised I would marry you to have a happy life together! Yet you never repaid me for everything I did for you! You wouldn't appreciate me for what I did for you! As for Gohan, how could you abandon him to a cruel place where the world has tainted him!? You were supposed to care for him and protect him from harm! Not a mother who abandons her children for cruelty! Now that we're divorced, I hope your new life rots in Hell for I care! You don't want your life to end up like mine! Take a fucking hint, Chichi!" After yelling at her nonstop, Goku eventually stormed off heading back to the Capsule Corporation. He doesn't want to go to the restaurant anymore now Chichi appeared out of nowhere.

Chichi was extremely shocked as she had never seen him so angry before. He even never hit a woman before! It was then she called the government intervention and told them what happened, pretending she was beaten up and raped by Goku. Here goes trouble again.

"Goku, are you okay?" Usagi asked as she went to check on Goku who was not sitting on the bed, feeling stressed out.

"I finally confronted Chichi for what she did was wrong. I won't forgive her." Goku muttered.

She then sat next to him and comforted him. "You did the right thing to do, Goku. I have to admit Chichi was such a total bitch when I met her."

He chuckled at this. "Yeah, right? If I didn't marry Chichi, it wouldn't happen. Even with Gohan wouldn't be born, but I love my son."

Usagi looked down, softening her eyes. "I understand fully, Goku."
