"There isn't anything suspicious in the phone, no strange name, messages or email." Leah said, checking Madam Éclairs phone.

"The only thing I find suspicious is that she only has one song on her play list, and is called 'The Song' who calls their song like that? I haven't even heard of such a thing. No musician on top, hah! Maybe that's why I haven't heard about it." She continued.

"Leah, your getting distracted here." I said.

"I wonder which kind of song it is?!" She said curiously.

"Leah, we don't have time for..." I couldn't continue, no words could come out. Its like I became frozen. What's happening? All I could hear was,...

...The warm breeze, flowing gently by my side.

'What is going on?' I started to panic but strangely enough, it sounded familiar and a little bit comforting, 'weird' I thought.

"Kayla?" Jason asked, confused by the fact that I suddenly passed.

I tried to talk, but I couldn't. So I tried mouthing the word 'song'.

"What? Song? Is that what you said?" Jason asked worriedly, trying to understand what I meant.

Just when I was I about to mouth yes,

  ...The shining sun,...

I was starting to feel numb. I tried, but I couldn't mouth it. 'It's up to you now Jason, I hope you figure it out.

      ...kissing my skin so---

'Did it stop? Or is it part of it?' I thought.

"Kayla! Are you back?" Jason asked still worried.

"Umm, yeah, yeah. I'm back! What was that?!"  I asked, after regaining myself.

"I think it was the strange hypnotising song." He answered.

    "Hypnotising?" I asked for confirmation.

   "Yes!" He assured.

"Then why were you not affected?" I asked, baffled by the occurrence.

"I think it's because I was wearing my earpiece. " Jason said, showing me his earpiece that was placed beside the laptop on the table.

"Oh!" I said, confused. "Wait!..." I yelled, startling Jason.

"Ah! You scared me!" Jason said, placing a hand on his chest, where his heart was. "What is it?" He asked ones he had calmed down.

"What about Leah!?" Realisation struck me. "If I was affected just by hearing the song from hear, then what about Leah?" I asked. Jason's eyes seems to widen, seemingly realising the same.

"Oh no!" He yelled then muted the audio from our side, put on his earpiece and yelled, "LEAH!" very loudly.  I think my eardrums almost blew up. I can see that the people left in the cafe are looking at us strangely.

"Ahh!" Leah screamed, and the sound of something dropping on the floor was heard. 'It might have been the  phone.' "Uh, oh, what is happening?" She asked dumbfounded.

"Leah can you hear me?" Jason asked.

"Yes, what just happened?" She asked again.

"No time to explain. Madam Éclair is on her way back. " I looked at the screen immediately after he said so and indeed, Madam Éclair could be seen heading in the direction where Leah was, it looks like her trip to the restroom is over. "Send the song to me before she gets to you."

"Uh, ok" Leah replied, still confused by the situation just like I was. I still can't get over it.

...

                   Leah's POV

What happened a while ago still baffles me. It was like losing control of my own bodily functions. It felt so surreal. If not because of Jason calling my name that loudly, I don't think I would be myself right now. But enough of that, I don't have time. Madam Éclair is on her way.

Just when I was about to send the audio to Jason,...

"What are you doing?!" I heard a thundering roaring voice.

"Ahhh!" I yelled out, frightened.  Seeing the person behind the voice, I tried my best to compose myself. Taking a deep breath, I asked nervously, "Madam Éclair! How long have you been standing there?"

Looking at me suspiciously, Madam Éclair asked again eyeing me, her face looked pale, "I said what are you doing with my phone Leah?"

"Oh! Hahaha!" I laughed awkwardly, still nervous. "You see, your purse wasn't clipped on well. Your phone accidentally fell, so I was checking if the screen had broken or not." I said as calmly as I could. Which I thought was quite OK and clever.

"Oh! Really? My bad." Madam Éclair said, relaxed. "I thought you were snooping around my phone." She collected her phone and purse back, "I'm sorry, it's just that I have somethings inside that are not for the public eye." She said ominously.

"Ugh! No need. If I may ask, what may that be?" I asked, seeing if I can get something out of her.

She looked at me with a smile, "hhh! Oh nothing. Just business stuff."

I wanted to ask more but that will be too suspicious so I bade her goodbye after excusing myself, saying that I had something urgent to take care of and we both separated ways.

          Third person POV

Unbeknownst to Leah was that the immediate time she turned her back, Madam Éclairs happy face turned into a frown and went to make a call.

...

Going out of the gallery, I met up with the two at the cafe.

"Did you get it?" I asked Jason after taking a side opposite to them.

Jason checked for a while, sighed and said dejectedly, "No! You might have not pressed the send button. "

    "Ow" I said.

"It's all right, at least we got the password.  That was our mission from the start. " Kayla said with a smile, trying to cheer us up.

"I know, but it would have been of great help if we could have gotten our hands on it. We could have find out a way to break the hypnosis in the song." Jason said looking down. He looked dejected.

"Who said we didn't get the song?" I asked, taking a sip of my drink.

"What do you mean by that?" Jason asked confused, raising his head. Kayla had the same look also and seems to be trying to understand my statement.

I kept quite and took a bite of my now brunch, waiting for them to unravel the mystery.

"Don't tell me...!" Kayla exclaimed in realisation.

"Yep!" I nodded. "I sent the audio to my phone first as a back up plan and was planning on sending it to you, before Madam Éclair caught me." I said with a smile.

     "Wow!" Jason exclaimed, overjoyed.

     "Smart move." Kayla complimented.

"Now what's next?!" I asked what I'm sure they were both thinking looking at them with a contented smile.

"Let's eat first, as a way of celebrating, and it's already lunch time." Kayla suggested to which we agreed to.
