                       Jason's POV

"Come get on, let me take you homes." I offered to them. Pointing to my car was close by.

"Can't. Uncle Joe all ready said he wanted to come and pic me up and I agreed to it. He just called to say they were all ready close by." Kayla decline my offer.

"OK. What about you Leah?" I asked Leah.

She grabbed Kayla by the arm and said, "Sorry same here. I need to do some sister bonding with Kayla so am going with her."

"Oh come on! You two always like to shove me out of the conversation. Sister bonding? Really?" I asked them.

"Well if you were a girl I could have let you in." Leah said jokingly.

I couldn't argue again and just smiled. Just when we were about to go out separate ways,...

     "WAAAAAAAITTTTTT!"

We all heard a yell. Turning to the direction of the sound,...

"How come you left me and didn't tell me you were all meeting up?"

Greg said angrily but out of breath after dragging me away from Kayla and Leah.

'When did he got back?' I thought to myself.

"After everything I did to become part of the group too." He said exaggeratedly.

"First of all bro, how was I supposed to know you will be back earlier than normal!" I argued back.

Yes, Greg normally gets his work done fast but still, this is way too early. On a normal day, that's Greg's normal one, he would have been back in three to five more days.

And I also checked the time he was supposed to be back too but when I saw the were still some days left, I decided against telling him so as not to distract him.

I also couldn't ask the girls to wait three more days or so with the fact that we had all ready been planning this for long and I wasn't sure of Greg's returning day.

"One more thing. Stop exaggerating like you went through a severe experience before you became part of the group."

I mean seriously, after that incident, he was practically a member all ready!

"Humph!" Greg scoffed. "You can make all the excuses you want but that still won't change what you did!"

"Wow! Seriously Greg?" I said in wonder.

"Guys! You done yet? Uncle Joe is here so we are gonna be on our way now!" Leah informed us.

Just before Greg left, he gave me 'the look' and said,

"We will continue out 'little chat' later." Then left.

Not any look but that 'look.' The same look that spells trouble.

The was ones a time that I accidentally ate Greg's chocolate cake dessert that was left in the refrigerator thinking that it was the leftovers.

When Greg found out, I was constantly reminded about it for two whole weeks. If I asked him for anything he most bring that up. Even if I explained that it was totally an accident.

'Sigh, now I have to deal with another.' I thought, depressed and went to the rest.

"Alryt, thanks for the number. I'll inform you when next we are going to get together." I heard Leah said while laughing when I approached them.

"Thank you! At least now I know I won't be left out again." Greg said nonchalantly like he didn't mean it.

'Oh come on bro. So your only blaming me here?'

"Kayla, can you please help me by explaining to me about the details of what happened today?" Greg asked hopefully?

'OK, now that's way too far.' I thought to myself.

Before Kayla could say anything I held Greg forcibly and interfered.

"There is no need for that Kayla. You just got back from your trip and you most be tired too. Don't worry about Greg here. We leave in the same house after all so I'll tell him all he needs to know."

'OK, I know that you upset bro but seriously?'

I thought to myself as we bade goodbye to the girls with Greg looking reluctantly and Leah laughing as if she just heard a joke.

...

"Now Greg---" I started off as I turned to give Greg a lecture but he was not there anymore. I search but couldn't find him.

'Where did he go now?' I thought to myself.

      "HONK! Honk!"

I turned to sound of the car horn to see Greg inside my car.

"Are we going home or what?" He asked amusedly.

'I don't even have the strength to ask about how he got my key.' Sighing, I reluctantly got in and we were on our way home.

The thing that surprised me the most though was that Greg was back to his normal self!

Also nothing happened after. I mean he didn't come up with the topic nor said anything about it again.

Even when we reached home and the next day and next. It was as if that event never happened before but I was sure it didn't. I surely couldn't have imagined it!

...

A week later,

"Excuse me sir?" Jane said as she walked into my office.

I stopped the codes I was typing on my computer to listen to her.

"Miss Leah just called and asked if you could meet up at the usual place in an hour or so."

"OK. Inform her that I will be there." I told her.

There's enough time for me to get this done and be there on time.

"OK." Jane replied. "Also sir,..." I turned my attention to her as she continued.

"She also said that you should help her inform Mr Greg too if he can make it, that she had been trying his number but it's not going. She also tried his assistant, Mr Kim's number but it was out of reach."

"All right. Tell her not to worry about it, I will inform Greg. What happened to Mr Kim by the way?" I asked.

"He went to check up on some orders that we made. There isn't a good network coverage there but he should be back in a week or so." Jane explained to me.

"Is that so?" I asked no one in particular. "OK, you can get back to your work now. Thank you as always." I thanked her as she left and continued my work.
