Two hours later, at 12:55 we arrived at the Smiths mansion with kayla being anxious throughout the journey and constantly checking outside.

The atmosphere inside the car was dead silent, Greg had since decided against eating his potato chips.

As soon as the car stopped at the entrance door of the main house, kayla who looked like she was holding her breath throughout the ride finally breathed out with relief and went out of the car with the butler, Uncle Joe, maids and servants coming out in tow.

"Young mistress your back from your trip?" Uncle Joe respectedly bowed to kayla then ordered the maids and servants to prepare tea and get the suitcase in order after kayla replied,..

"Yes, I'm back, UncleJoe" with a smile. Then she turned in our direction and said apologetically, " Sorry for ruining the trip."

"No trouble " Greg said, coming out from the front car side.

Smiling, kayla said, "in any case, I had a really fun time hanging out with you two."

"Us too" I said, relieved to see that she was back too being her normal self.

'I've never seen her this scared before. She's normally calm no matter how tough the situation is. I wonder what made her so scared? Those it have something to do with her parents? Is there something wrong that she's trying not to tell us? Is it a personal matter? Or a family one? In any case, I hope everything turns out all right.' I thought as we drove pass them and out of the mansion after saying goodbye and goodnight.

'I should ask Greg about his opinion on this but I don't think it's right to get too involved especially if it's a personal or family matter. Since she didn't ask for help it means she can handle it,...hopefully. Greg looks to be tired out too,...' I thought looking at Greg who put his head on the side of the window. 'Alit of things happened today,...' I looked out the window, '...it was tiring but at the saje time fulfilling. ' I put my head on the side and slowly closed my eyes to rest with a smile. 'It's all ready night time after all.'

Monday,
Lorei High School,
Lunchtime,
Cafeteria.

Kayla was sitting at their normal spot eating her meal. From the top side view of her eyes, she saw another tray being placed on top of their chair. She got confused thinking who might it be because Jason had a meeting with his team and Leah went for an art exhibition. Looking up,...

"Did ya miss me!" Leah excited yelled out.

"Leah! When did you get back!?" Kayla asked, looking at her best friend with a smile.

"Oww come on!" Leah said, exaggerating, "your best friend in the whole wide world has been gone for a month or two now, and the first thing you could ask her is, 'when did you get back?'" She put her hands on top of the table in an angry manner, then continued. "No how are you? How was the trip? And the most tragic of All! No hugs! Oh My Goodness kayla!" She flopped back on her chair more exaggerated than before then wiped her fake tires and looked at me wrongly and with accusing eyes.

"Are you done?" I eyed her with a smile. "If you would have given me time,..." I said taking a bite at my lunch and chewing it, then swallowed, "...then I would have asked you about that but you were right about one thing due,..." I eyed her with a smile, "... absolutelyno hugs."

"Hahahahaha" Leah burst our with laughter, sitting down properly and trying to control her laughter, which had no effect because the small giggles coming out every minute.

"Your still the kayla I know after " Leah smiled at me then took a bite of her food.

"So how was the trip?" I asked after finishing my meal and taking a sip of my cartooned milk.

"Tiring!" Leah exclaimed. "I mean, it was interesting, entertaining and educational but above all, it was really Tiring!"

"Yeah, I can imagine. " I can see the bags under her eyes which she tried so much to hide with make up. "Why don't we go to Fruits Yogurt later?"

Fruit yogurt is our favourite hanging out place, they got snacks, dessert, ice cream, milkshake, you name it. It is also a famous hangout location among all students in LHS and neighbouring schools, and you can also mingle with others.

"Yes! you really do know how to make me feel energized" Leah said, Looking at me with teary eyes, I just shooked my head being used to her usual antiques.

...
    4:30pm
^^^Fruits Yogurt^^^

Entering inside the shop, it was filled with lots of teenagers of our school and others roaming around or sitting and enjoying themselves. That's how this place has always been. Warm, cozy anf filled with laughter.

Walking towards the counter filled with various desserts with smiles, we met Aunt Rosie, a woman in her early fifties. You can see her slightly grey hair tied in a bun. She was wearing a purple apron with the words Fruits Yogurt written stylishly. she's the owner of of the shop. She likes to come down here and help whenever she has the chance to. She's an amazing woman. All the customers here love and respect her, and her food. She always has a kind and gentle smile on her face, and loves and treats all her staffs and customers like they are her own children.

""Hi Aunt Rosie!!"" But Leah and I greeted smiling.

"Oh! Hi girls!" Aunt Rosie greeted us back. "Aya you at you two, you've grown alot this pass two months"

"You think so, right?!" Leah asked with satisfaction whilst trying to show off her height.

Aunt Rosie nodded with smiles, "And Leah, you back from the trip? When did you get back?" She asked with a warm smile and a motherly vibe around her.

"Yesterday night!" Leah answered smiling back at her to.

"Aya, it most have been tiring!" Aunt Rosie said sadly.

"It sure was! You know, kayla didn't even give me a welcome back hug" Leah pouted as she continued to complain about me to Aunt Rosie.

"Oh my sweet, sweet, poor child " Aunt Rosie held Leah's palms and looked at me reprimanding. "Kayla, you have to take care of Leah. You know she just got back from a trip. The least you could do is at least hug her." I could see Leah smiling smugly at the side.

"All right Aunt Rosie, whatever you say" I conceited. You can never win an argument when it comes to this types of predicaments with Aunt Rosie.

Looking at Leah, "All right now, no need to be sad. Everything has been settled now. You know what, as your welcome back present, your meals are on the house."

     ""Thank you, Aunt Rosie!!""

"Your welcome, the usual right?" She asked.

We both nodded and thanked her ones again then left for our favourite spot hear. The corner at the end that is by the side of the window. It has the greatest view of the sunset.
