                     Kayla's POV

At the end, we decided to just rest for the day and continue the next day, on Sunday. But we couldn't make it because of increasing school work. We are all studying different courses, so we don't get to all meet together most of the time.

But, after a long discussion over the phone, we finally agreed on meeting at Fruits Yogurt today, on Monday after school. Which is now almost two months from then.

Now I'm waiting at our favourite spot in Fruits Yogurt, for them to come. The weather is starting to get cold so I am wearing thick clothes to keep me warm and cozy. I looked around to see the other customers also dressed the same way. I also ordered hot cocoa.

It's really surprising how time passes by. In about a month now, the college exams will begin. I held my hot cocoa to warm my freezing fingers and took a sip of it to help warm my body.

Everyone is growing more anxious as time goes by. Our free time with each other is also constantly decreasing. That's why we make sure to at least meet every one's a week. Even if it's two of us that can make it.

After a while, Leah came in also in thick clothing and waited for jason, soon enough, Jason also made his way to us.

...

"It's been quite a while, don't you think?" Jason asked with a smile looking at his hot cocoa which was wrapped within his hands.

    "Yeah!" Leah said excitedly.

"Hmm." I said casually with a smile.

"How have you both been?!" Leah asked, we chatted for a while, talking about how everything has been, catching up with each other and laughing together.

"Are you ready for the next task?" Jason asked us with a smile.

"Yeah! Bring it on!" Leah exclaimed. Jason and I both chuckled and I nodded along side.

Jason brought out his laptop that was kept inside his backpack which he had placed beside him when he sat and kept in on the table. Leah and I both shifted from our position to a better one closer to Jason so that we can get a clearer view of the screen.

Butting it and going into the website, Jason then said, "since we last put in the password, I haven't checked it yet. But seeing it now, it seems like the next clue is inside their logo? I think. I'm not really sure but that's what it is showing. "

It was showing, 'please insert you logos password' on the screen.

"OK then,..." Leah said while in thought, "...That's means we need to get the logo?" She asked confused looking at us.

     "Maybe?" Jason said, unsure.

"Then if that's true," Leah paused, "do you think we can get it from Madam Éclair? Because the fact that she had that songs with her, doesn't that mean she might be a member?" She asked.

"Ah yeah! That might be plausible." I said in support.

"No, that won't be possible right now." Jason said, breaking the hope that had started to grow in me and Leah. "Madam Éclair is currently not in the country on a business trip and her scheduled time of return is it four to five month's, that's if nothing where to happen. " He read out from the information provided on the search list.

"Ah! We can't wait that long then." Leah said sadly. "Do you think there is a way we can at least get a picture of the logo?" Leah asked.

"Hmm, let me check." Jason replied. "Ugh! There is no picture available!" He said resigned.

'Hmm, picture, picture, picture.' I thought. 'Oh yeah!'

"There is a way!" I exclaimed, garnering their attention. "I have a picture on my laptop, that's what they use as their cover page. You didn't see it because you didn't enter the normal way and you are not a member." I explained.

      "Oww!" Leah's mouth widened.

"Then do you have it now?!" Jason asked excited.

"No, I don't." I told them and their ones smiling faces seem to fall. "I mean I left my laptop at home." I explained waving my hands in the process. "I'll bring it when next we hang out." I told them, their eyes brightened and they nodded.

"What about the song?" I asked.

"I've sent it to Greg tp see if he can find someone in country X to help." Jason explained. "He replied to me that it will take some time to get someone to do it but for now the best thing we can do is to prevent our self from hearing the song through noise cancelling headset. "

After we had concluded on those things, we spent the remainder of our time eating, chatting and relaxing before it was time to go.

"Don't forget about our maths test on Wednesday you both!" Leah informed us. We nodded and parted with smiles.

...

  Tuesday afternoon after school.

When I arrived at home, something felt off. The faces of the maids were covered with smiles, genuine one this time. Not like the one they always looked atme with. Which was sympathetic. I never liked that look. I continued to walk forward, greeting them back awkwardly whenever they greeted, which was a lot. The strangest was when I saw Uncle Joe, the butler, at the main door, brimming with smiles and his eyes twinkling.

Uncle Joe and I greeted each other as usual, I then asked him what the occasion was because I was getting uncomfortable.

"Young mistress, your parents are back from their trip!" Uncle Joe shouted excitedly. My eyes widened in surprise, joy and excitement. Before I knew it, I was all ready running upstairs to their room. It has been long since I saw them. I've missed them so so much.

Reaching the door to their room panting, I stopped to catch my breath even though my hand was itching to knock.

I hurriedly knocked on the door after I had catched my breath. The first thing that came to my view when the door opened was my mother's beautiful face.

"Mom,..." I said with shaky breath, my eyes got clouded as tears began to fall.

Seeing my tear filled eyes, my mother gave me a gentle smile and said softly, "we are back, my bumblebee. We are here to stay for a long time too. Together." And opened her arms for a hug.

I couldn't hold my tears anymore, I hugged her tightly and kept on repeating the word mom over and over again, like a broken record. She hugged me back and pat my back patiently, giving me comfort. Dad was looking at us from the back with a relaxed and gentle smile. 'It has been so long and lonely, but I am happy they are finally back.'

After a few minutes, I had all ready calmed down more or less. We then parted deciding on getting changed before having dinner.

We had dinner, which was quite much. Everyone could see the effort that the chef put into it. The taste was also on a whole different level. But what made the night special was having my mom and dad there. They are both big time scientists, so they don't have much free time. Despite that, they always made sure to make time for us to bond, and I love them for that.

Dad made jokes and we both teased mom alongside, we then played cards after desserts, mom kept on winning whole dad whined and complained every time she did. We then headed to our rooms when we all got worn out. In all, today was a day filled with happiness and excitement.
