                         Kayla's POV

'This pass few months have been hectic, everyone is busy with school work and preparation, events of different kind are happening almost every week.'

Fixing my shades, I grab my bag and rolled it to the private jet in front of me.

'On Monday after school, I went back home and received a call from mom and dad, whom I haven't seen in the last five month's, that was even through video chat, saying that they have granted me permission to join the Walker's offspring, Jason's, ski trip this weekend, on our mid-term break.'

'Even though I was confused because Jason didn'tsay anythingregardinga ski trip, I still thanked them and went to my room'

'I went into my room and freshen up then call Jason to ask about it.'

'After I explained to him what happened,'

"Oww, sorry Kayla," he said apologetically, I can almost imagine him face palming himself.

Stopping myself from laughing, I heard him continue,

"I forgot to inform you about that, my brother, Greg, planned this as a way for us to relax and unwind from all the stress of school work, but things were sk chocked up, that I forgot to mention it to you guys."

He said, whinning in the process.

"OK, no problem, I was just surprised by the unexpected news that's all." I told him.

We chatted for a few more minutes until he said he had to go, that his brother was calling him.

Thinking about it now, I don't really know who Jason's brother is, I heard that his father remarried a single mother when Jason was ten but I haven't met him because he usually stays abroad for his studies.

Walking to the escalator that led to the jet, I pulled my luggage along with me.

I didn't really pack much, just some usual necessities, winter cloths, some boots, my laptop, head phone and my mp player.

Upon entering,  I took in my surroundings, at one side, there was some comfy cushions that looks led extremely inviting, a rest area and a gaming area.

While on the other side, there's a mini buffet table with a mini chocolate fountain on it, surrounded by delicacies of different varieties, all of them looking appetising.

There's even a boy, sitting close to it, eating a croissant, taken from the table.

As if sensing my gaze, he looked up, Looking back at me with his dark chocolate coloured orbs and letting his brown hair to fall over his face.

His eyes widened in a firm of realisation that I couldn't understand, swallowing his croissant, he wiped his hands clean with the napkin on the side of the table, stood up and walked towards me.

Upon reaching my side, he smiled charmingly at me and said,

"You most be Kayla, the girl with the beautiful ocean blue eyes," he said excitedly while I eyed him.

"I'm Greg, Greg Walker, Jason's older brother " he introduced him self, being rather smugged when he said 'older brother'.

"Owww" that's all I could say, stunned by his way of introducing himself.

Then I smiled and said, "even though you seem to already know who I am, I'm Kayla, Kayla Smith, Jason's childhood friend".

"So where Jason?" I asked him after noticing there's no one here apart from the both of us.

"He went to clear on somethings with the pilot" Greg replied and both of us went back to the snacks area and sat down.

"You know Jason has told me a lot about you guys, like how he used to look up at you when you were kids after you ones saved him from a two bullies."

Greg suddenly mentioned after a while, laughing a little.

"Yeah" I said, breathing in the scent of the tea that Greg handed over to me when we sat and sipped it.

"Those were some good memories" I said, remembering those days then smiled at him.

We chatted some more and I got to know more about Greg, like how he likes playing basketball, his favourite movie, songs and his joy he derives from teasing his brother.

Greg is open minded, playful, likes to make funny jokes and knows how to carry a conversation.

It was phone talking to him, I laughed a lot, more than I did normally.  Soon Jason came back and joined in on the conversation before the jet took off.

Leah couldn't join in on the trip because she had to go on an art  exhibition this weekend. Jason was already informed about it a few days ago.

The journey from here to the ski resort in country N took only an hour and a half. We took of ten in the morning and around twelve in the afternoon.

Arriving at the inn located close to the resort, which was also owned by the Walker's, we decided to have lunch first before checking out the place.

After lunch, we changed our clothes then went out. Cold wind blew at iur faces right after stepping out.

'I guess the Inn is air conditioned,' I thought.

Our first agenda on the list was skiing, that's what I was most excited to do despite not knowing how to ski.

Reaching the area meant for skiing, my excitement only excalated upon seeing the people around skiing, performing different tricks of their own.

"It looks phone, doesn't it?" Greg asked all prepped up and ready to ski away.

"Yeah" I said, Looking at him.

"All right then, let's join them" he replied fixing his goggles.

"Well, I actually don't know how to ski" I said Looking down at the snow and using my right leg to doddle on it.

"Hhhh, no problem, my lil bro here can help you with that, right Jason?" Greg said and asked Jason, who just arrived after talking to the manager.

"All right,  no problem," Jason agreed, then turned his attention to me,

"After all, it's rare seeing you excited after all,"

"Hhh, it just looks phone that's all" I told him.

"All right, now that that's all settled, bye my peps"

Greg said, showing us the peace sign and skiing away really fast. I guess his a pro in this.

"Now then," I turned my attention back to Jason as he taught me the basics in skiing.
