"Might as well get the cat out of the bag, don't you think Kayla?" Mrs Smith's held kayla's chin, smiled amusedly and roughly released.

"Did you lots know that kayla here knew that we were the ones behind the incident?" She asked Jason and I.

"Yeah, she told us when she found out on two days ago." Jason said after sharing a glance with me.

"No no no!" Mrs Smith shook her head in denial. "She knew about it wayyyy before that."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked confused.

"What I said, girl." She replied.

"Don't talk if you are only going to speak in riddles!" Jason yelled, obviously angered by her manner of speech.

"Hahaha! Calm down, would you." Mrs Smith laughed. "Don't forget that your still held captive by us." She said menacingly.

"Hah! Look at your frightened faces. It's quite amusing!" She continued in her shrill voice.

Everything is just confusing and why does she keep referring to herself in plural?

"Aigo! Don't worry. I'll explain it better since it seems you all don't have a funny bone in you." She smiled.

"Kayla here..." she pointed at the her, whom was now frozen from shock. "...knew what was happening since hmm---let's see--- Twelve? Or was it thirteen years ago?"

"Forget about that now." She flung her hands in the air in dismissal. "The funniest thing is that she never told anyone. Hahaha!" She laughed out loud.

"At first I thought that it was because of the brainwashing we did to you..." she walked to kayla, "...but that wasn't it, was it?" She held her cheeks up.

"In turned out that excessive hearing of those sentences leaves space for a loop hole. So at times the person remembers what happened." Mrs Smith said facing us before turning to kayla still holding her face.

"We should thank you, after all because of your silence, we could reach this point in the plan. A puppet. That's what you are. That's what you've always been! Hahaha!"  She laughed crazily.

I don't know if I was just imagining it but it felt like she flinched when she said those last words but I was too enraged to think clearly.

"That's not true!" I yelled making them turn to me. I tried to move closer to her but I was held back by the chain binding us.

      "Huh?" Mrs Smith asked.

"Kayla is not a puppet! She's the kindest person I've ever known! She was there for me when I was all alone and lost! She took care off me like a sister the first time I met her even though we didn't know each other!"

"Hah! Are you done? We don't have time for you idle chatter." Mrs Smith said not caring a word of what I said.

"You know what? Are you sure your not crazy because your speaking like one! I mean who refers to themselves as 'we'? Hahaha!" I laughed crazily.

"Silly child, your the only one that's crazy here." She said with no expression.

"If you don't understand something, don't give a comment on it. When I said we, I meant we." She continued.

    "CREAK"

We heard the sound of a door opening. Looking around we saw a small hidden door being open.

"Dear, your taking too much time on this kids?" Mr Smith came in with his finger in his ear, shocking us all.

"Sorry Darling." Mrs Smith said and walked to him. "Let's get started. They are no fun at all." She pouted.

     "Hmm,." Mr Smith agreed.

"Is the sentence ready?" Mrs Smith asked.

"I've all ready gotten the codes on the laptop. They'll be under our control in about minute now. We could have been done earlier if you didn't decide to chit-chat."  The kept on conversing.

Sentence? Code? Mrs Smith also said the same thing earlier about a sentence. Are they talking about the song? So was it not a song? Or is it that it didn't have to be a song?

Ahh! It's not the right time to think about that! We don't have time! I can see the count down in the tablet that Mr Smith kept a while ago. And worst of all, we are all chained to the ground!

Kayla doesn't seem like she can be of any help now, Jason is struggling with the chain and trying to see if he could break the chain. I'm too occupied to even deal with him right now!

It's only remaining less than 30 seconds! What should I do?! Is there any solution right now? I closed my eyes and waited for the count down to finish.

...

...When you hear this ding it shall all commence.

...You shall obey every single word I say.

'What's going on?' I thought to myself as I opened my eyes. 'What's that sound? I thought we were going to get hypnotised. Why does it sound different?

...Now Your under my control my love.

That sounds like it but what's going on? I saw Mr and Mrs Smith both holding their heads in pain.

...The shining sun kissing my skin so smoothly.

Whatever it is, seems to be working on them. They are now both on the floor, screaming and grunting in pain.

...The warm breeze flowing gently by my side.

Now the both of them seem to be on the ground.

    "CLICK"

The chain binding us was unlocked and the cage door opened. I stayed on the same spot in awe.

"Are you guys going to stay there all day long?" A voice said laughingly.

"GREG!" Jason said and stood up. I looked in his direction to see a brown haired boy walking in our direction from the back.

"Sup bro. Did you miss me?!" He said with a smile.

"When did you get back? And above all how did you know I was here? And what did you do to them?" Jason chirped excitedly. "But above all thank you!"

"Aya my curious brother!" He laughed. "One, I just came back. Two, I always know where you are!" He said smugly. "And three, we figured out how to undo the brainwash."

"Aha!" Jason said in understanding. "But dude, what took yiu so long! I sent for help for like an hour ago then!"

"Do you know the distance from Country X to here?! My luggage is still there!" Greg argued. 'That's why helooked dishevelled when he came here.'

"I'm sure you had time to stop for your chips." Jason mumnled but we both heard him.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!..." They kept on talking and arguing. I was too tired to even interfere but then it clicked on me. Kayla!

I turned around to find her close to her parents. I walked closer to her to make sure she was OK after all that happened. I heard them discussing something as I went closer.
