🎧 One Kiss ★ Red Velvet

It was Tuesday, the day that Seungmin and Hyeongjun were meeting up after school. They decided to stay near the school, as for once, it wasn't raining much.

"Why'd you lie to me?" Hyeongjun finally asked, he didn't sound particularly mad, he just wanted some clarification.

"I got this message just after i told you I couldn't" Seungmin turned on his phone and showed it to Hyeongjun, not like he needed proof. He believed him, it made him happier knowing that it wasn't because Seungmin didn't like him.

"Jungsu begged me to let him post the photo" Seungmin referenced the post that led to this question. Hyeongjun chuckled.

"Would've been a shame not to, you look cute" Hyeongjun said calmly, Seungmin's eyes widened. A huge blush started covering his face, he tried to hide it with his hands.

Hyeongjun noticed the motion, but decided to just ignore it. He thought the older boy was just simply sneezing or something like that.

"Well your question about making out with guys from the other day makes a lot of sense now" Hyeongjun said while laughing, Seungmin joined.in the laughter, he wasn't exactly the best at hiding his sexuality. Especially with a question like if a guy has ever had gay thoughts.

"I should've read the signs" Hyeongjun finally decided to stand up from the bench. He stuck out his hand so that Seungmin would follow. Instead of holding his wrist, the latter held hands with him. He was surprised with that, but held his hand back.

"That's the first time I'm holding your hand!" Seungmin said, he was extremely happy that something like that happened.

"Is it?" Hyeongjun asked, he thought they had already held hands before. Seungmin hummed and nodded. The two boys looked at each other afterwards for a couple of seconds. The younger boy noticed something different.

"You look different today" He stated, he sort of surprised himself as he wasn't expecting to say it out loud.

"How?" Seungmin asked, he didn't understand what the boy was saying. Hyeongjun stopped for a couple of seconds. He observed the elder's face for a couple of seconds.

"Your eyes" He said after a couple of seconds. He noticed how they popped.

"I got double eyelid surgery" Seungmin replied with a laugh, it was obviously a joke. Hyeongjun still wanted to get an answer, he found this difference strangely attractive.

"No, but actually, I just wore some eyeliner" Seungmin explained, Hyeongjun couldn't help but find him even more attractive with this slight change.

"It fits you well, you should do it more often, it makes you more handsome" Hyeongjun complimented, Seungmin's mouth was left open, he thanked him shyly while hiding his face.

"You think I'm handsome?" Seungmin asked, such a question flustered the younger boy. He didn't know what to say to him.

"Well, I mean, obviously, you're a very attractive guy, even better with that touch" Hyeongjun explained while admiring his features (in what he'd call a straight way).

Seungmin pulled Hyeongjun into the bus stop in silence. The latter looked down and noticed that they were still holding hands. Strangely, he didn't really dislike it, unlike how he would dislike it with most people.

"I wanna kiss a guy so badly, I'm so jealous of our friends" Hyeongjun didn't pay much attention until replaying the words in his head. He found it weird how Seungmin referenced his friends to be Hyeongjun's as well.

"I'd volunteer, but I don't think you want your first kiss with a straight guy" Hyeongjun said, switching spots with Seungmin, so that he was against the translucent walls of the bus stop.

"I don't mind, it's up to you" Seungmin said, obviously he wouldn't mind. It would be a kiss between he and his crush.

"It's your first kiss" Hyeongjun debated, he wasn't sure though, he wouldn't mind kissing Seungmin. 

"It's just one kiss" Seungmin quickly replied, maybe he seemed like he was too pushy. He didn't want Hyeongjun to be weirded out by him.

"If you really want it" Seungmin hid his smile before turning to Hyeongjun. The der boy nodded slowly.

"Then I'll kiss you, just once before the bus comes" Seungmin promised, he would've always expected his first kiss to be with a girl. And after realising that he wasn't into girls, he thought it would be a guy that's also interested in guys. But here he was, about to kiss his straight crush.

Seungmin tilted his head to the left side before quickly giving the younger boy a peck on his lips. As Hyeongjun leaned out, he couldn't help but lean back in.

"Seungmin, I'm straight" Hyeongjun took him out of his dream before leaving the corner to go in the bus that had arrived just seconds ago.

It felt like his heart just shattered into millions of pieces. He knew it would be coming, but it still hurt.

"Fuck my life" Seungmin muttered before walking away, he couldn't get that kiss out of his mind. Even if it happened just minutes ago, he could tell that it was something he would think about for quite a lot of time.
