Seungmin and Hyeongjun were at their usual lunch table, despite their break up earlier in the week, Jiseok was still talking to Jooyeon. The latter wasn't as chatty as him, but still replied sometimes to what he was saying. He really wished that Jungsu would interrupt him, so that they could talk to each other. He was talking to Gunil though, which made it impossible.

Although they were deep in conversation, Jungsu couldn't help but steal some quick glances at the boy across from him. Normally, it would be his boyfriend. But this time it happened to be none other than the one and only Lee Jooyeon. Gunil realised that he wasn't fully paying attention to what he was saying, so he started speaking slightly less. He wondered why Jungsu had been so distant from him recently.

Hyeongjun and Seungmin were too occupied staring at each other to notice what was happening around them. "Hey Seungmin?" Jungsu asked, pushing his friend's shoulder to get his attention. He didn't even notice that he had interrupted his boyfriend mid sentence. "What?" He asked in a rather rude tone, he was too busy with Hyeongjun to stop what he was doing.

"Go ahead and swap places with Jooyeon." He said pushing the boy out of his seat, he frowned but decided to just go without saying anything. Hyeongjun watched him walk off and looked at Jooyeon who had taken his boyfriend's seat. He wasn't unhappy to have him in front of him, Jooyeon was someone he appreciated quite a lot. But he did want to be with his boyfriend right now.

So now, Hyeongjun, Jiseok and Seungmin in that order were on the same row while Jooyeon, Jungsu and Gunil were across of them. Jiseok let out a laugh when noticing the couple's reaction to being separated.

Quickly, Gunil realised that Jungsu was far more interested in conversing with the youngest, he had finished his food and decided that the best would be to just leave the table to go outside. He took his tray and went to the exit, to put away his plate and cutlery. Seungmin saw how quickly he had left once his boyfriend had shoved him to the side and stood up as well to follow him. Since Seungmin left, obviously Hyeongjun left, no one batted an eye when seeing the latter stand up a couple of seconds later.

Gunil, Seungmin and Hyeongjun were sitting on a nearby bench on the gravel courtyard. The eldest looked at the sky, he tried forgetting about how he had gotten ignored by the one person who would usually always listen to him, even if he didn't care much about the subject.

After a couple of seconds of silence, the couple exchanged glances. "So did you guys like.. break up as well..?" Hyeongjun asked sincerly, Seungmin playfully slapped his shoulder. "Hyeongjun! Learn about appropriate timing." He said quickly, Gunil couldn't help but laugh at how the two were interacting in front of him.

"Alright, alright... But did you break up?" He questioned sincerely which made Seungmin call out his name pretty loudly. It made Gunil burst out in laughter once again, he shook his head defeated by their behavior. "I can't believe you two, you're actually so unhinged." He said, sounding rather tired of their endless banter. He stood up pretending to walk away.

"Hyung! Come back, we'll stop!" Seungmin exclaimed, not making much of an effort to make him come back. Hyeongjun nodded he stammered for a short while, trying to find something to say. "Yeah, we'll stop asking questions once you give us the ans-" He was stopped by the older boy putting his hand over his mouth.

Gunil sighed and separated the two, he sat between them to make them stop. "You tire me so much, why am I even still here." He said, barely sounding comedic, Seungmin shrugged and rested his head on the eldest's shoulder. "Because Jungsu-hyung won't hang out with you hyung." Hyeongjun said, sounding rather innocent. Gunil slowly turned to the boy next to him, so did Seungmin, so they looked at each other for a couple of seconds in silence, processing what he had said so calmly.

"Appropriate timing Hyeongjun." Seungmin told him off, he stood up and put his finger on his lips to make him stop talking. "You know, honestly, I feel like Jungsu actually likes Jooyeon more than me right now." He said, Seungmin nodded, he knew that was exactly what he was feeling without saying anything.

"Ask him how he feels about Jooyeon, like, no sugarcoating or anything." Seungmin suggested, Hyeongjun nodded, the eldest pondered, it was a good idea. That way he wouldn't have to ask himself, and overthink.

"I'll do that after class." He said, he wasn't looking forward to it. If Jungsu gave him the answer he didn't want to hear, then that would mean that they would probably break up with each other. And he wasn't ready to let him go, he just liked him too much. He could tell that their relationship was starting to be shaky, he could tell that they'd break up rather soon. But the fact that the thought could possibly exist in reality soon, he really wasn't ready for that. He feared that he would never be.
