After your shower, Jake arrived back just as you were walking out of the bathroom.
"Oh, You're back? " You said.
"Yeah, I told you I would be back in an hour silly. " He said.
"That's right, how was basketball? " You said.
"Fun as fuck, Ni-ki keeps getting better and better. " He added.
"Did you make any shots? " You asked.
"Yeah, a couple, I need more practice though. " He added.
"You'll do fine, go take a shower, so we can pack up and head home. " You said.
"Good idea. " He said heading into the bathroom.
You gathered all the things you had brought and started to pack up.

On the road home...
Jake and Ni-ki had been sleeping, when your mom asked you about your night swimming.
"Honey? Jake told me you guys went for a dip in the hot tub last night, how was it? " She said.
Your eyes grew big at the unexpected question.
"Oh, it was good, no one was there. " You said trying to avoid those feelings once again.
"Aw that's good sweetie, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. " She said.
You looked over at Jake who was peacefully sleeping.
"Yeah me too. " You said looking away from him.
Jake heard and looked over at you.
He was also feeling some things, but he was trying is hardest not too say anything that would make Kaira feel uncomfortable, after all, it was just a practice kiss.
He looked up at the car ceiling and shut his eyes.
It was silent most the ride home.

When you guys arrived home everyone went to their bedrooms and rested up for the rest of the day.
Your thoughts were bothering you, so you decided to sit out in the backyard and try to journal these thoughts of yours, it was raining, so that was peaceful.
You looked into the distance as you watched amd heard the raindrops fall to the ground.
There was a sudden knock at the sliding door, you looked over too see who it was, it was Jake.
"Hey you, is it okay if I join you ? " He said.
"Yeah of course. " You said.
He walked over at sat across from you.
"What you doing?" He asked.
"Just journaling. " You said.
"Oh, everything okay? " He added.
It wasn't but you had to brush it off.
"Yeah, you ? " You asked.
"Yeah, I think so. " He said.
You laughed.
"That's good. " You said.
"Should I let you be? " He asked.
"No it's okay, I was just getting distracted by the rain. " You said.
"Peaceful isn't it? " He added.
"Yes very, it makes me feel so calm. " You said.
"Yeah, rain will definitely do that too you, but you sure everything is okay? " He said concerningly.
