You and Jake made it to the parking garage safely.
"You wanna take my car our yours ? " Jake asked.
"Oh, we can take yours if you'd like, mines a bit messy with all my stuff in it right now. " You said nervously.
"Sounds good too me, It's just right over here. " Jake said.
It was a nice black and white stripped camero, with black interior, surprisingly his car was pretty clean, and it smelled pretty good.
"I love your car. " You said.
"Thank you. " He said.
You smiled.
You sat in the front seat nervously.
Jake noticed and chuckled.
"You can get comfortable you know, you don't have to sit so awkwardly. " He added.
"Oh, right. " You giggled nervously.
"Seatbelt ? " He said.
"Hm ? " You said.
He reached over and grabbed for your seatbelt making you feel a bit flustured inside.
He buckled you in.
"Safety. " He said.
You smiled.
You guys headed to the grocery store shortly after.
Jake made a pitstop to this Korean restuaraunt before you guys went shopping.
You were slightly confused.
"Oh um, what are we doing here ? " You asked.
"Were gonna have lunch first, we can't go grocery shopping on an empty stomach now. " He said.
"Oh, okay. " You said.
"You are hungry right ? " He said.
"I could eat. " You said.
"Then shall we ? " Jake said.
"Okay. " You said.
Jake got out of his car and walked over to your side to open your door.
"After you ? " He said letting you lead the way.
"Thank you. " You said getting out of the car.
You both headed inside and were sat down.
"Can I get you any drinks ? " The waitress had asked.
"Yeah, I'll just take a coke, Kaira ? " Jake had asked you.
"Oh, water is fine. " You said.
"Make it two cokes and one water please ? " Jake said.
You just smiled.
"Would you like lemon with your water Miss ? " The waitress asked once more.
"Yes please. " You said.
"You got it, those should be out shortly, take your time with the menu. " The waitress said once more before leaving.
You and Jake sat awkwardly across from each other, not sure what to say.
"You know, you gotta stop acting so nervous around me, it makes me nervous. " Jake added.
"Oh, yeah. " You said.
"Tell me about yourself ? " Jake added.
"M-Myself ? " You said.
"Yeah, like what it was like living in California ? " Jake said.
