You took some time out on the balcony, and Emily came to check on you.
"K? You okay? " She said.
"Hm, oh yeah, it was just Jake. " You said.
"Oh I see, everything okay? " She said.
"Yeah. " You said.
"Alright well, let me take you home, so we can beat the storm. " She added.
"Yeah okay. " You said.
"Alright come on, let's say bye. " She added.
You guys walked back out into the living room.
"Alright, we better head out before the storm comes, it was nice to meet you guys, Ni-ki see you this weekend. " Emily said.
"Yes! It was nice too meet you two! You're welcomed anytime. " Jungwon said.
"Thank you, will definitely hang soon. " Emily said.
"And Kaira, I hope things go well. " Sunoo added.
You smiled.
"Thank you, me too, see you later. " You said.
"Lemme walk yall out. " Ni-ki said.
"Okay. " You said.
You said your last goodbyes and left soon after.
You and Ni-ki stood and talked by the car.
"You okay? " He said.
"Yeah, It'll pass hopefully. " You said.
"Go with what your heart wants. " He added.
You smiled.
"Thank you Ni-ki, I will, I promise. " You said.
"Sissy, try not to beat yourself up, okay? " He said.
You took a deep breath.
"I know, I know. " You said grabbing your hair in stress.
"You'll be okay, I promise. " He added.
"Yes, I will hopefully. " You added.
"Alright text me when you get home, I love you. " He said bringing you into a hug.
"I love you too. " You said hugging him back.
He kissed your head and you got into the car.
"Drive safe Em. " He said once more.
"I will. " She added.
He waved bye and went back into the house.
You guys drove off as it began to sprinkle, Emily grabbed your knee and comforted you.
You gave her a small smile and looked out the window.
Having feelings sucked big time.

Back at the apartment complex, Emily dropped you off and you headed inside.
"You gonna be okay baby?" She said.
"Yeah, I just need a long bath. " You said.
"Sounds like a perfect idea, text me later, okay? " She said.
"I will, love you! " You said.
"I love you more sunshine! You a bad bitch, handle this like it's nothing!" She said.
