Back in the hotel room Jake had been in the bathroom taking a shower.

You sat on the bed wondering what the fuck had just happened, and why didn't it feel weird kissing Jake.

The kiss felt almost normal, as if it was something you should be worried about, not glad about.

Like, it was born to happen, but why was it like that, why did it feel like that.

Isn't a first kiss supposed to make you feel butterflies and a whole bunch of anxiety.

But that wasn't the feeling at all...it was so nonchalant and good, very good actually.

Jake was only supposed to be a roommate, and a best friend, not a crush.

What were these mixed feelings you were having about him, you had never felt like this before, and why were they that way.

You laid your head up against the headboard and stared up at the ceiling as your thoughts ran through your mind.

And why did you want more of it ? was it the tension? the feelings ? the friendship ?

Jake came out of the bathroom.

"You hungry? " He added.

Why did he suddenly look really good too you.

"No, I'm okay, thank you. " You said sitting up as you crossed your legs.

"You sure? " He said acting so calm as if you guys didn't just have a full blown make out session for like three minutes in a fucking hot tub.

"Yeah, all good. " You said trying to brush it off.

He sat down on the bed.

"You okay? You look a little pale? " He added.

"Yep, all good. " You said.

"Mm, you sure? " He said a bit concerned.

"I'm fine Jake. " You said.

"Okay, just making sure, you wanna watch something? " He added.

"Yeah. " You said.

"Bet." He said scrolling through the tv.

You looked over at him and admired him as he scrolled through channels.

He started to make you feel nervous all over again, but this time more intense then the first time.

You thought to yourself as you shook your head.

"Okay, what's wrong? " He said.

"Oh nothing, nothing. " You said.

"No, it's definitely something. " He said sitting up across from you.

You looked at him and just stared at him.

god was he so majestic.

"Kaira, hello? " He added touching your face.

"Sorry sorry. " You said covering your face with your sleeves.

He smirked, as if he knew what was going on with you.

"It was the kiss wasn't it? " He said.

"We kissed? " You said.

He laughed.

"You're so funny, hahaha. " He said sarcastically.

"What is it? " He added.

"Well..." You said.
