After your first flight you arrived at your layover.
"Can we eat please, I'm fucking hungry. " Ni-ki added.
"Okay, what do you want ? " You added.
"Pizza maybe. " Ni-ki said.
"Pizza? really? " You said.
"Yeah, what's wrong with pizza? " Ni-ki said.
"Nothing Ni-ki. " You said.
"Pizza it is. " Ni-ki said.
"Someone's grouchy, rawr. " Jake said.
"I am not. " You said offensively.
"Mm, just a tad bit. " He said teasing you a bit more.
You rolled your eyes.
"Go feed your brother please. " You said pushing him.
"Yes ma'am. " He added.
You weren't that hungry surprisingly, but it was probably best to eat something, since you had a very long second flight.
You went to join the boys.
"What time are we even landing ? " Jake said scrolling through his phone as you guys waited for your food.
"11pm, California time." You added.
"Poor mom and dad, they're gonna be so exhausted. " Ni-ki said.
"I mean I told them they didn't have to pick us up, but you know mom, she just had too. " You said.
"True, at least they're off tomorrow. " Ni-ki said.
"Talking about that? What do your parents even do for work? I don't think either of you ever told me ? " Jake added.
"Dad's an aritech, and mom's a novelist. " You added.
"So that's where you get your writing from then ? " Jake added.
"Yeah kinda, but I mostly got it from my grandma. " You added.
"She did want too be a vet, but she changed her mind. " Ni-ki added looking over at you.
"Okay we get it Ni-ki, you got to do your dream job, stop rubbing it in. " You said.
"I never said it was a bad decison sis, you're still a really good writer. " Ni-ki added.
"Yeah, that's if I ever get to publish a book. " You said.
"You will sis, you're still young. " Ni-ki added.
"You should lemme see your writing sometime. " Jake added.
"Really?" You said.
"Well of course you goofball. " Jake added.
"Okay sure. " You said getting excited.
"She's pretty good, I will admit. " Ni-ki said.
"Thanks Ni-ki. " You said.
He smiled.
We finally got our food shortly, you all ate before waiting two hours for your last flight.
You were getting more excited, the closer time had gotten, you really could not wait to be home.

After eating, you guys sat around and waited in the lounge.
"KK? " Jake said.
"Hm? " You said focused on reading.
"Can we go do something? " Jake said laying in the lounge chair.
