After lunch, you headed back home to start prepping everything for dinner tonight.

You were really hoping Jay would at least show up.

When you got inside, Jake had already been cutting up some veggies.

"Oh Jake, you didn't have too. " You said walking over to help him.

"No, it's all good, I'm gonna get the grill ready, you wanna finish these up for me? " He added.

"Yeah, of course. " You said cutting up the last of the veggies.

You looked around the kitchen as you began to plate everything, you washed the lettuce wraps, and cut up the kimchi, as you began starting on the ramyeon.

Jake came back into the kitchen.

"Were low on Propane, I'll be right back. " He said.

"Okay. " You said with a smile.

Kiro and Layla had been watching you in the kitchen.

"Puppies, the meat isn't even cooked yet. " You said looking down at them with a smile.

They tilted their heads.

You smiled as you gave each one of them a carrot.

You began placing the veggies in the broth, as you added your favorite seasonings, and other delicious spices.

After letting the ramyeon cook, you started working on the side plates, there was already so much food, and there still needed more to be done.

As you began marinating the meat, you couldn't help but think about Jay, and how upset you had been at yourself for hurting him.

This was the first time in forever, he had ever been so dissappointed in you, and it was so hard not to think about, you missed him a lot, and you were hoping you could make up for it sooner or later.

Jake came back home and walked back out on the balcony.

"I got these cute fairy lights, I think they'll look cute on the door. " He said showing them too you.

"They're so cute Jake, hang them up please. " You said.

He smiled.

You watched as Jake hung the lights up, and you couldn't help but feel a bit guilty, you had a very huge decision on your plate, and you didn't wanna hurt either of them.

You tried not to think about it, and continued cooking.

An hour later...

"Okay, everything's done, how does it look? " You said.

"I love it, you're plating skills are quite the attraction Miss Pierce. " He said.

You giggled.

"Thank you, thank you, okay, I'm gonna shower real quick. " You said.

"Can I come? " He said.

You looked at him.

"What? " You said.

"Can I shower with you too? " He said.

You rolled your eyes.

"So, that's not a no? " He said raising his eyebrow.

You just looked at him.

"Yes! " He said running over too you as he took off his shirt and threw it on the floor.

You smiled.
