After lunch Heeseung, Kaira and Jake's mom starting getting rid of things to donate.
"Oh Heeseung, my boy, look. " Jake's mom said showing Heeseung an old sweater of Jake's.
"Oh my god, no way. " Heeseung said taking the sweater from Jake's mom with a smile.
"Remember? He used to always wear this, he would never wear anything else, besides this sweater, I remember having to wash it so many times. " Jake's mom said with a giggle.
Heeseung laughed.
"That, and those old vans he loved so much. " Heeseung added.
Jake's mom smiled.
"Kaira, you would've loved Jake when he was a kid, he was always so full of energy. " Jake's mom said.
"He still is eomma. " You said.
"That's true, but he's matured so much over the years, it makes me so emotional. " Jake's mom said.
"Aw eomma, he's always gonna be your little boy, no matter how old he is. " You added.
"I know, but so many good memories. " Jake's mom said.
You smiled looking through some old pictures you had found, when one really crossed your mind.
It was a picture of Jake, Heeseung, and Lana during they're sophomore year of college during a bonfire party that Jake's mom had held.
Your eyes watered remembering how close they really had been.
Heeseung noticed and walked over too you.
"What's wrong? " Heeseung said.
You sniffled.
"You guys were so close. " You said.
Heeseung frowned.
"I know. " He said.
"There's so many things I wish I could tell her. " You added.
"You still can. " Heeseung said.
"Do you forgive her ? " You added.
"I always forgive, but that doesn't mean I don't forget, she put me and Jake in such danger, and I will never forget that. " Heeseung added.
"Yeah. " You said wiping your tears as you put the picture down and continued looking through old photos.
You smiled when you saw a picture of Jake and Heeseung during their freshman year.
"Wow, look at us, holy shit. " Heeseung said.
"Aw, you guys were so young and cute." You said.
Heeseung smiled.
"We still are. " He added.
You laughed and continued looking through pictures.
"Heeseung honey, do you think Jake would still wanna keep this ? " Jake's mom said.
"Oh shit, our soccerball, yes, I'll bring it to him. " Heeseung added.
"So Kaira, I forgot to ask, are both your parents korean ? " Jake's mom said scrummiging through a box of Jake's old toys.
"Oh no, eomma. " You said.
"Oh really?" Jake's mom asked.
"Yeah, my mom was adopted by korean parents, but she's fully white, and my father is Japenese. "You said.
"Oh you're mother was adopted ? " Jake's mom said.
"Yeah, it's a long story, let's just say my moms real mom didn't really care for her as much as she did for drugs. " You added.
