You and your mom sat down on the front steps as you watched the boys play basketball.
You looked over at Jake, who was currently having the time of his life.
"Jaeyun look's so happy. " Your mom added drinking her coffee.
"Yeah, he's been very happy. " You said.
"Have you ever seen him upset, he always look so full of joy, I admire that about him. " Your mom said.
"Yeah a few times, but one of the times was mostly my fault. " You added drinking your coffee as well.
"What why? What happened? " Your mom said a bit concerned.
"I was out super late with Heeseung one day, I ended up spending the night at his apartment, and never told Jake, I regret it everyday, he was so upset with me mama, it was very hard seeing him like that. " You added.
"Oh honey, he was probably worried sick that's all jagiya. " Your mom said comforting you.
"He was, that was what hurt the most, we cleared it up the next day though. " You added.
"That's a healthy friendship my love, I'm glad you guys figured it out. " Your mom said.
"Yeah, and the other time was when Heeseung and him were in really big trouble. " You added.
"In trouble?! " Your mom said.
"Life-threating actually. " You added.
"Honey? You never told me this. " Your mom said.
"Yeah I know, it's still hard to talk about sometimes, I've never been so scared in my life. " You said.
"Baby, when life threating things get in the way, you have too tell me, especially if it considers you or your brother, okay, always tell me. " Your mom said.
"I know. " You said.
"Okay good, things like those are always important, but whatever happened, I'm glad both Jake and Heeseung survived, you can tell me when you're ready. " Your mom said.
"Thanks mom, I'm so glad too. " You said.
Jake came running over to you shortly after and sat down next too you.
"Let me grab you boys some water. " Your mom said going inside.
"Thank you mom. " Jake said.
"Of course sweetie. " Your mom said.
Jake looked over at you.
"Having fun I see? " You said.
"So much, dad's really good at basketball. " He added.
"Really? " You said.
"Yeah, he's winning right now. " You said.
"How many shots did you make ? " You asked.
"11. " He added.
"Okay Mr. Basketball. " You said.
He laid on your legs.
"Ew Jake, that's so gross, you're covered in sweat. " You said pushing him off.
He laughed.
Your mom came out with water bottles shortly after.
"Boys water break! " Your mom said.
Your dad and Ni-ki came running over too you.
"Thank you. " They said chugging the water.
