After first period was over, you still had some time to spend before meeting up at your usual lunch spot with everyone, you decided to pay your math teacher a visit to talk about some of your recent low scores on a few assignments that you were hoping you would be able to make up before the end of the semester.

You walked down the hallway and made it to your math class, you poked your head up and looked at the window, hoping your math teacher wasn't in a class session right now, thankfully he wasn't.

You opened the door and headed down the stairs.

"Hi Mr. Kim. " You said.

He looked up from his desk.

"Oh Kaira, why hello, what can I do for you?" He said grading some paperwork.

"I hope it's not a bad time. " You said.

"Oh no, not at all, what's up? " He said.

"Okay, so I saw the grade on my recent exam when I was checking my grades yesterday, and I was wondering if it was possible for me to make it up? " You said.

"Ah yes, right, about that though Miss Pierce, that was your exam before spring break, since that semester is over now, it won't be able to be redone, but if you would like, I can give you some parcial credit on the practice test, and push it towards your exam grade, you would have to do the practice test over though, is that okay? " He said.

"Yes, anything I can do to get it up higher. " You said.

"I mean, you didn't do so bad on the actual exam though Kaira, is there a particular reason why you like to make it up? " He said.

"Yes actually, I know I've been slacking a bit on my assignments lately, it's just you know how life gets in the way sometimes. " You said.

"I get it Kaira, but you can't redo the ones you took, but I am willing to give you both math practice tests from both exams, I can grade those for you and add the points to your latest exam, how does that sound ? " He said.

"That's perfect, thank you Mr. Kim. " You said.

He handed you both practice tests.

"Have them both done before the 11th, okay?" He said.

"Yes sir, it will be done, thank you so much again. " You said.

He smiled.

"You're welcome, I will see you next wednesday. " He said one last time. 

"I'll be here, thank you again Mr. Kim." You said.

He nodded and smile.

You began to walk away.

"Kaira? " He said.

You turned back around.

"Yes sir? " You said.

"You're a good student, don't think you aren't, just try not to forget that okay ? " He said.

You bowed.

"Thank you Mr. Kim, I needed to hear that, I promise I'll do even better this semester. " You said.

"That's the spirit, go on. " He said one last time.

You smiled and left his classroom shortly after.

Back out in the hall.

Jake had been talking to Jay and a couple other classmates.

Jay noticed you and ran over too you.

"KK!" He said running to hug you.

"Jay! " You said happy too see him.
