CHAPTER 27.2

I smiled softly at him, as an answer. He responded with a smile of his own, drawing me close into his embrace.

I was about to speak when the sound of a gentle knock filled the room, coming from the door of his study. Pareho kaming napatingin sa pintuan.

Sino naman yon.

"Come in," he utter in a stern and authoritative voice that carried a hint of annoyance. I could tell that he was not pleased by the interruption, natawa ako ng bahagya bitin pa.

Bumukas ang pinto at agad na bumungad sa aming harapan sina Cash at Coin.

Sabi na e.

I rolled my eyes in unison of my husband's glare at them.

"Shet, dre wrong timing" Agad na asik ni Cash kay Coin pagka pasok sabay siniko sa kasama.

"Sabi ko naman sayo Coin wag tayong, umepal kapag bebe time ng Emperor." Dagdag pa nya sumiko naman pabalik ang isa.

Muka silang t*nga.

"Ul*l, ikaw ang nag sabi urgent ito-" Before Coin finished his word Zyaire cut him off with a sharp glare looking really irritated.

"Cut that crap both of you," he said firmly, his patience clearly wearing thin. Agad na napa ayos ng tayo ang dalawa at tumigil sa kalokohan nila.

"Grabe talaga ang mag asawang ito, sila pa ata tatapos sa buhay ko" hindi nakaligtas sa aking pandinig ang sinabi ni Coin, Tinaasan ko ito ng kilay.

"You saying something Coin?" Taas kilay na ani ko. Dumako ang tingin ni Xyaire kay Coin.

Agad itong umiling.

Sus wala daw, sumbong ko kaya?

"What did you come here to tell me? Don't just stand there like useless idiots." Zyaire snaped at them, agad na yumukod ang dalawa bago magsalita ang isa sa kanila.

Coin spoke up nervously, his voice trembling slightly sounds nervous.

"Yes, Emperor. Lady Zereign of House Constanza is asking for permission to speak with our Empress. She is currently waiting in the private garden." Coin spoke up Zyaire's expression darkened at the mention of Zereign, and I could feel his body tense beside me.

Napahawak ako sa kanyang braso dahilan para mapatingin ito sa akin.

"Collect yourself Zyaire" Paalala ko sa kanya i saw his eyes soften slightly.

"Don't let anyone think we are suspecting her, Baka mabaliktad tayo" Dagdag ko pa Zyaire sighed heavily, his irritation evident.

"Just hearing her name it makes my blood boil, knowing she might be plotting sh*t to us with that assh*le" Iritang ani nito, agad na kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi nya.

With that assh*le?

Is he's talking about Zein's Father. He seems really irritated with those two.

Mas problemado pa ito sa problema ko.

I caressed his arms, telling him to calm down tumingin ako kina Cash at Coin. They're also aware of our problem right now.

They understand why Zyaire is acting like this, pero hindi pwede maging ganito ang pakikitungo nya kanila.

His irrational personality could put his name in danger.

"Coin, escort me to the garden," I commanded decisively, giving Coin a firm nod. Zyaire's eyes widened in surprise at my order, clearly taken aback.

Hindi ko ito pinansin at tumingin kay Cash

"Stay with the emperor while we're out," I instructed, my voice firm and authoritative.

"Yes your highness" Yumukod uli silang dalawa.

But Zyaire's protest was immediate and vehement kaya natigilan kami.

"What the h*ll, wife? Absolutely not. I won't let you face that woman alone." Agad na kontra nya, i turned my gaze at him softly.

"Absolutely yes, hub. This way I'll be able to watch her and what she's plotting to do here. You must stay here" Seryosong wika ko bakas ang pagkontra sa kanyang tingin pero inunahan ko na ito.

"Stay and Reflect that you shouldn't act so irrational you have to be in control with your emotions especially while with them" Pangaral ko dito, pero sadyang matigas ang ulo nito at hindi nauubusan ng sasabihin.

"Still i have to be there incase something happened-"

"Cash will escort me, Zyaire" putol ko sa sasabihin nya, i look at him patiently..

"Do you trust me?" I asked him, my voice soft but firm. Zyaire's frown deepened, his concern and worry evident in his face.

"Of course I do, wife," he replied quickly, his tone tinged with a hint of desperation. I took a deep breath, my gaze locking with his.

I won't let you work alone, Zyaire it's time for us to work together.

"Then believe that I'll be back to you without a single scratch" I reassured him with conviction.
