I woke up in a foul mood. I hadn't slept very well, and when I did sleep, I had x-rated dreams. This was not normal for me and it made me uncomfortable. Even during my "wild phase" in college, it wasn't that way. I decided their pheromones were bringing out a side of me that had been dormant. What other reason could there be?
I got up to feed Jinki and make myself a cup of coffee. I had a lot of time to myself that morning and then we had a radio station interview at 3:00. I could go with them to dance practice and to rehearsal, but why torture myself like that again? Nah, I was going to relax while I could. The guys all texted good morning and I replied with a grumpy cat meme. They laughed, but I was serious.
While Jinki ate her breakfast and took her morning bath, I finished the second half of the 'dates' blog post and a second cup of coffee. I had ended with a cliffhanger on the Kihyun date and picked up part two at the private helicopter tour of the city. I was expecting to get lots of comments on that. I told them how Hyungwon and I listened to music on vinyl and wondered how many of them had never even seen a vinyl record before. I didn't mention him asking me to sing on the guide track for a song he was working on.
I was happy with the article, but I did withhold a lot from the final date with Changkyun. I left out how he had affected me... well, I mentioned it, just not in full juicy detail. I kept the part about his lips on my neck and his bulging pants to myself. I talked about how he had looked, how he had smelled, and how much of a gentleman he was. I also didn't mention how the wolf had come out to play that night.
Talking to him was easy. He felt like an old friend whom I had known for years. I wondered to myself why I had not felt as comfortable opening up to him as I had with Minhyuk. I shook the thought out of my head and focused on my article. I had to go on about Changkyun a little more than the others since my readers knew he was my bias and he was the one they were mostly waiting to hear about. I read through the post to check for errors and then shared it before I could change my mind about anything.
I decided to go for a swim since I had some free time. It was a weekday and it was early, so the pool should be mostly empty. Or so I thought. There were a ton of noisy teenagers at the indoor pool. I let out a loud sigh and turned to go back to my room.
I caught a glimpse of the mean girls from the pool the other day but they didn't see me. I noticed they were wearing t-shirts from another popular K-pop group. One that was known to start fan wars and cause trouble. I snarled my lip as I kept walking. It made more sense knowing they were in that fandom.
I didn't want to explore the city by myself. It wasn't as fun. Everything was more fun with Monsta X. Plus, there wasn't that much time before the interview. I could edit some photos. Yes, that is what I would do. I was bored already without the guys, but I felt like a short break was probably a good thing.
The first concert was the next evening and the guys were hyped. They were nervous too. They had told me they were concerned since it was their first show as an independent group. Ticket sales had been phenomenal, but they always worried about people showing up and enjoying the show. I knew they had nothing to worry about.
I got back to my room and opened my laptop to find several comments on my post already. My readers were so excited about the date with Kyunnie! They asked me a few questions and I answered as well as I could without giving anything away about the guys.
I spent about an hour with that, then got sleepy. I joined Jinki on the bed and took a nap. I awoke feeling more refreshed. I decided to pick out my outfit for the interview.
Jooheon and Minhyuk had taken me shopping when we had a couple of hours free one afternoon. They tried to take me to Saks, but Macy's was more my budget. TJMaxx was even better. They helped me pick out some new styles that I normally would not have considered.
