I woke up to a pounding headache and a taste like something had died in my mouth. I tried to move, but it just made my head pound harder. I opened my eyes just enough to test the light and saw the most beautiful sight. Minhyuk was next to me, propped up on his elbow. He smiled sweetly as he stroked my cheek.

"I've imagined this so many times, but never quite like this," he chuckled softly as he stroked my cheek with his finger. The events of the evening began to reveal themselves to me and I first looked around for Changkyun, expecting to see him in the bed. When I saw he wasn't there I looked at Minhyuk and tried to pull the covers over my head and hide. He stopped me. "Noona, it is okay. Nothing happened." I was sure he noticed my panic and was quick to reassure me. I sighed with relief and closed my eyes.

Then I remembered throwing up. I was mortified. "Oh gosh... no... no... no... I can't believe I did that." I wasn't sure which part I meant. Throwing up? Letting them make me into a sandwich? Which part?

I shook my head, but that made it hurt worse. I winced and he put his hand on my arm. I peeked one eye out over the sheet in my face. "Minmin, thank you for taking care of me last night. I wish you hadn't seen that, but thank you," I croaked. My throat was so dry and my mouth felt like it was full of cotton. I wanted to cry over the whole situation. He brushed a lock of hair from my eyes and kissed my forehead.

"I am glad I was there for you. I want to see all the different sides of you." He kissed my forehead and rolled over to get up. He reappeared beside the bed holding a bottle of water and a little glass bottle of something with Hangul writing on it. "Here, drink this, and then have some water." He handed me the small open vial.

"What is it?" I asked as I brought it to my nose. It didn't smell all that appealing, very earthy, but it didn't turn my stomach.

"Hangover cure. It doesn't taste the best, but it will help. I got it from Jooheon."

I raised it in a mock toast and then downed the contents. I didn't gag, but I didn't like it either. I reached for the water and chugged half of the bottle in one go. I had to stop to catch my breath, but I needed more. I finished the remainder at a slower pace.

Minhyuk sat on the edge of the bed and put his hand on my leg. There was a thick comforter on me, so he wasn't actually touching me. That was disappointing. I wanted him to touch me, even after last night, and even looking like I did right then. I looked at him and felt something stir inside me. It was not a sexual stirring, but more of an emotional one. He smiled and squeezed my leg through the blanket.

"Let's get you cleaned up and send you home. I am sure Jinki is missing her Eomma."

That made me smile. He took my hand and helped me to stand. I was a bit wobbly still, but I needed to pee. He walked me to the bathroom and told me I was welcome to use any of his toiletries. He said he would find some clean clothes that I could wear while I showered.

After I was home and Eric and Alicia had dropped off Jinki, my stomach started growling. I didn't have much in the way of food since we were only in town for a few days. I ordered some chicken on my delivery app and curled up on the sofa to wait for it. Miss Jinki settled in my lap and started purring. I stroked her head as I thought about the last few hours.

Minhyuk had been so sweet and caring with me. He made me feel safe when he easily could have taken advantage of me. He showed his true colors and it was exactly as I had expected. Ever since I discovered the group, I had imagined every one of the members to be caring and genuine individuals. I always pictured them as being loyal and honest. From everything I had seen over the past few weeks, my assumptions were spot on.
