[Fluff]
You could feel the oppressive heat of the concert hall pressing down on you, sweat dripping down your back as Iron Maiden's music thundered around you. The energy in the room was electric, the crowd a sea of swaying bodies and raised fists. You had been looking forward to this night for months, but now, your vision was starting to blur and your knees felt weak.
Beside you, Dex noticed your distress immediately. She squeezed your hand, trying to catch your eye amidst the flashing lights and roaring guitars. "Hon, are you okay?" she shouted over the music, concern etched across her face.
You nodded weakly, but the world seemed to spin faster. The next thing you knew, Dex's arm was around your waist, guiding you through the throng of Maiden fans. "Come on, let's get you some air," Dex said, her voice soothing and determined.
You slowly made your way to the exit, Dex practically carrying you as you went. Once outside, the cool night air hit you, and you gulped it down gratefully, leaning heavily on Dex. You found a quiet spot away from the noise and chaos, and Dex helped you sit on a bench.
"Hey, hey, look at me," Dex said, cupping your face in her hands, her touch gentle and reassuring. "You're okay. Just breathe."
You took a few deep breaths, your vision slowly clearing. You looked up into Dex's eyes, filled with worry and love, and managed a weak smile. "Thank you," you whispered.
Dex pressed a kiss to your forehead, then another to your cheek. "Don't thank me. Just rest," she said, brushing a few strands of hair away from your face. "You scared me there."
You leaned into Dex, feeling her warmth and strength. "I'm sorry," you murmured, wrapping your arms around Dex's waist. Dex hugged you back tightly..
"Shh, no apologies. Just relax," Dex whispered, pressing kisses to your temple, your eyelids, your lips. Each kiss was a promise, a reassurance of her love and presence.
As the night wore on, you stayed like that, wrapped up in each other's arms, away from the pulsing energy of the concert. Your strength slowly returned, bolstered by Dex's unwavering care and affection. Every time you looked at Dex, you were met with a warm smile and another tender kiss.
"I love you," you said, your voice stronger now, your heart swelling with gratitude and love.
Dex smiled, brushing her lips gently against yours. "I love you too, Y/N. Always." She pulled you closer, resting her chin on top of your head, and the two of you sat together under the stars, the distant music a mere background to your own little world of love and comfort.
