[Minor Angst/Fluff]

You stood in front of the full-length mirror, the early morning light casting a soft glow on your bare skin. You scrutinized every inch of your reflection, your gaze lingering on the curves you had always despised. The softness of your stomach, the fullness of your thighs—all felt wrong. You traced a finger over all the scars on your thigh, a relic from a teenage insecurity, that somehow hadn't passed yet, and sighed deeply.

The bedroom door creaked open, and Cobie, your girlfriend, stepped in, still drowsy from sleep. Her short, tousled hair framed her face, and her eyes immediately softened when they landed on you.

"Hey," she said gently, wrapping a blanket around her shoulders as she approached. "What's going on?"

Your eyes filled with tears you fought to hold back. "I hate what I see, Cobie. I just...I don't feel right in my own skin."

Cobie stepped closer, her hands tenderly resting on your shoulders. She pressed a soft kiss on the back of your neck, the warmth of her lips a stark contrast to the cold spiral of self-loathing inside you.

"You're beautiful, Y/N," Cobie whispered, her voice steady and sincere. "Every part of you. When I look at you, I see strength, kindness, and so much beauty. I see the woman I love."

You closed your eyes, the tears finally spilling over. Cobie gently turned you around, pulling you into a tight embrace. The two of you stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, the mirror now only reflecting your shared vulnerability.

"Tell me what you see," Cobie murmured, brushing a tear away from your cheek. "Not the flaws, but the things you love about yourself."

You hesitated, your voice shaky as you spoke. "I like my eyes. And...I guess my hair isn't so bad."Cobie smiled encouragingly. "And your smile lights up a room. Your laugh is contagious. You have the kindest heart."

Your grip on Cobie tightened, the words sinking in slowly. You took a deep breath, the weight on your chest lifting just a little.

"I'm trying, Cobie," you whispered.

"I know," Cobie replied softly, kissing your forehead. "And I'm here with you, every step of the way. We'll get through this together."

You looked back at the mirror, but this time, with Cobie's arms around you, you saw not just the imperfections, but also the love and support that surrounded you. For the first time in a long while, you allowed herself to believe in the possibility of self-acceptance.
