[Fluff]
Inspired by Apocalyptica's 'I'll Get Through It'

You were standing in near the edge of the stage, your heart pounding with a mixture of pride and nervous anticipation. The stage lights dimmed, casting an intimate glow over the crowded venue. The opening chords of "I'll Get Through It", a song you wrote some time ago, began to echo through the room.

You stood there, gripping your electric guitar. This was the debut of a song you had written during the darkest period of your life, a song that had been a lifeline when everything else seemed to be slipping away. Your fingers moved with a mix of confidence and vulnerability, your voice strong yet achingly tender as you began to sing:

"Out on my own, out of my mind, I am barely breathing.
Cold and alone, tumbling through time, life has lost its meaning."

The audience was captivated, their attention unwavering. Your voice grew more powerful, yet tears shimmered in your eyes, revealing the raw emotion behind the words.

"The world that I'd built has crumbled at my feet.
But I'm gonna be fine. Don't worry 'bout me."

You knew, that Cobie was watching, making you feel a profound sense of relief. She was one of the few people, who knew the depth of the pain you had endured, and knowing, that she was there, made you feel much more confident about sharing your pain.

"Hey, I'll get through it.
It's only gonna take a lifetime.
But hey, I can do it.
It might take forever.
And I, I'll get stronger.
Won't be in this pain no longer.
Hey, I'll get through it without you."

The final notes hung in the air, and the room erupted into applause. You, visibly emotional, gave a small, grateful nod before stepping off the stage.

You saw Cobie pushing through the crowd, her eyes fixed on you. The moment your gaze met hers, Cobie broke into a run, throwing her arms around you as soon as she reached you. You hugged her tightly, feeling her tears against your neck.

"You were incredible," Cobie whispered, pulling back just enough to look into your eyes. "I'm so proud of you."

You smiled through your tears, your voice barely more than a whisper. "I couldn't have done it without you."

Cobie leaned in, kissing you tenderly, your tears mingling in the process. The two of you stayed like that, wrapped in each other's arms, ignoring the bustle of the crowd around you.

"You got through it," Cobie murmured, breaking the comfortable silence that hung in the air between you, a mix of relief and admiration in her voice. "We got through it."

You nodded, your tears finally giving way to a radiant smile. "Yes, we did."

A/N: I know that it's similar to 'I Don't Care', but... I don't care. I just love these songs and I wish that I could share the songs I wrote with a special person like this.
