[Angst/Fluff]
WARNING: Panic Attack

"Y/N, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?" you suddenly heard your girlfriend Dex yell from her home office while you were sitting on the couch in the living room reading a book. You were confused. What was she talking about? You were about to get up from the couch and go find her in her office to see what was going on when the door suddenly burst open to reveal your rather angry-looking girlfriend holding her cell phone in her right hand.

You got up from the couch and cautiously approached her. "Baby, what's wrong?" you asked, stopping about a step in front of her. "WHAT'S WRONG!?" she shouted at you mockingly, her tone meant to hurt. What was she talking about? You felt tears well up in your eyes and bit down on your lower lip to keep the lump in your throat from turning into a sob. "Dex, could you please stop yelling and tell me what you are talking about?" you asked in a cracking voice, trying not to burst into tears in front of her.

"Y/N, I'M TALKING ABOUT THIS!" she angrily shoved her phone in your face, showing you a picture of you kissing a woman who wasn't Dex. It was Liz Melero. You were confused. "Dex. Baby, that's fake. That never happened-", you tried to explain, but she just wouldn't listen. "WELL, TO ME IT KINDA SEEMS LIKE IT HAPPENED!", she shouted.

Suddenly she raised her hand to run it through her hair, but that's not what you saw. You flinched away from her and raising your arms in protection and backing into the corner of the living room. All you could hear was a gasp, that came from Dex, before the whole room fell silent. Her hand was covering her mouth and she had tears in her eyes, which were wide open in shock.

"B-Baby, did you think I was gonna hit you?" she asked incredulously, the pain radiating from her voice. Slowly you straightened up, a little confused yourself. "I-I don't know," you replied, your voice shaking. "No. Y/N, I would never hit you, do you understand me?" she said calmly but firmly, but her words just started to fade away, along with the whole room. You felt your breathing get faster and more erratic. All your strength left your body and you collapsed to the floor, your hands desperately trying to find something to hold onto. Your heartbeat echoed in your head and tears streamed down your cheeks.

Then your hands finally found something to grasp - a pair of hands gently clasping yours, slowly bringing you back to reality. The room around you began to take shape again and you saw your girlfriend Dex kneeling in front of you, gently holding your hands.

"Dex?" you asked carefully and she nodded. "I'm so sorry, I..." you started to explain, but Dex cut you off by wrapping her arms around your waist and hugging you tightly. "Y/N, I would never hit you, baby," she whispered into the crook of your neck before planting a soft kiss on your skin. "Dex, I really didn't kiss Liz," you started to cry again, your tears falling on her hair.

"I know, baby, I know," she said, her voice breaking and soft sobs escaping her mouth. Her tears streamed down your neck until they were absorbed by the fabric of your shirt. "I love you, Dex. I'd never kiss anyone else but you, or even touch anyone the way I touch you," you whispered, your voice breaking. "I know," she sobbed, "I love you too, Y/N. You'll always be safe with me."
