[Angst/Fluff]
WARNING: Panic Attack

The steam from the shower filled the small bathroom, creating a thick, hazy atmosphere that muffled the sounds of the outside world. You stood under the hot water, your breaths coming in short, ragged gasps. The sensation of the water hitting your skin, which was usually comforting, now felt like an overwhelming barrage. Your chest tightened, and a low hum of panic buzzed in your ears.

The walls seemed to close in, your vision blurred, and you slid down to the floor of the shower, hugging your knees to your chest. You rocked back and forth, trying to steady your racing heart and the thoughts that spun out of control in your mind. You couldn't pinpoint what had triggered this attack—only that it was here, and it was suffocating.

Just as you felt yourself drowning in the panic, the bathroom door opened. Through the fogged glass, you saw a blurred figure rushing in. A moment later, the shower door swung open, and Maria, your girlfriend, stepped in, her face etched with worry. You barely registered the shock of cold air that rushed in with her.

Without hesitation, Maria knelt down and wrapped her arms around you, holding you tightly. The warm water soaked through Maria's clothes and matted her hair to her face, but she didn't let go. Maria's voice, soft and soothing, cut through the cacophony in your mind.

"It's okay, Y/N," Maria murmured, her lips close to your ear so you could hear her over the sound of the water. "I'm here. Just breathe with me. In and out, nice and slow."

You tried to match her breathing to Maria's, focusing on the steady rise and fall of her chest. Gradually, the tightness in your chest began to ease, and the noise in your head started to quiet down. The warmth of Maria's embrace and the rhythm of her breathing provided a lifeline, pulling you back from the brink.

As the panic ebbed away, you felt Maria's lips press gently against your forehead, a soft, lingering kiss filled with love. Then another kiss, this time on your temple, and another on your cheek. Maria's kisses were like gentle waves, washing away the remnants of your fear. You nestled closer into your girlfriend's arms, feeling the security and warmth of her presence.

Minutes passed, and the water began to cool. Your breathing evened out, and the tears that had mingled with the shower water dried on your cheeks. You became more aware of your surroundings, and it was then that you noticed Maria's clothes clinging to her, completely soaked. Her jeans and t-shirt were plastered to her body, hair dripping water.

"Ria, you're still dressed," you whispered, your voice hoarse.

Maria smiled, brushing a damp strand of hair from your face. "Didn't matter," she replied, planting a tender kiss on your lips. "I needed to be here for you."

Your chest was flooded with gratitude and love. You reached up, cupping Maria's face in your hands, and kissed her deeply, pouring all your love and thanks into that kiss. When you pulled apart, you whispered, "Thank you."

"Always," Maria said, her voice steady and reassuring. She kissed you again, softly this time, your lips barely touching, but it was a promise—a promise to always be there, no matter what.

You held each other close, you wrapping your arms around Maria's neck while Maria encircled your waist. The cold water no longer mattered as you exchanged kisses and hugs, each one reaffirming your bond and the love the two of you shared. You sat there in the cooling water, holding on to each other, until the world outside the shower seemed manageable again.
