The Gift

Zac was in love at first sight and let's just say Fatima felt the same way! This bundle of joy was innocent and precious and despite how both of them may feel about his mother at the moment, he's still the most joyous thing in their lives! They sat at the hospital for hours! They fell asleep in the waiting room and when they woke up it was time for Giovani to pass his final test which would be the car seat test! The nurses performed blood tests to make sure he had no drugs in his system and thank God he didn't! Of course he passed his car seat test and it was now 9:30 am! The nurse gave Fatima everything she needed and they packed it into her truck! She buckled Giovani in the backseat and they headed to her apartment! While Zac wasn't sleeping, he had been thinking about Asking Fatima to move in just so she would have some help with the baby! He felt like he owed her that much but he also figured she'd decline the offer so he removed it from his head! When she got to the apartment, Mrs. Gina was there!

Fatima, "Hey Mrs. Gina!"

Gina, "Hey Honey! I wanted to bring you over some things we could no longer use at the center! There's a lot and we also have a lot of clothes, diapers, wipes and hygiene products to deliver as well! I had a company pack everything up and bring it here!"

Fatima, "Well thank you but my apartment is much too small for all of this!"

A light bulb went off in Zac's head! The person who used to rent out the other part of his duplex moved! It's now available and furnished!

Zac, "Fatima would you consider staying in the other part of my duplex?"

Fatima, "I mean I wouldn't mind! It would be way more room than my apartment just tell me how much!"

Zac, "We can discuss that later!" He gave Mrs. Gina the address and told her to meet them there! He helped Fatima pack up her things and they were on their way!

It took 25 minutes to arrive at his house and it was beautiful!

She has never really had a place of her own so when she see it she fell in love! The drive way was made like it was one home but she could clearly see it was two! Mrs. Gina was outside waiting so Zac handed her the keys and she went inside! Everything was beautiful the previous owners kept everything clean and the furniture was amazing! She found the perfect room to set up for Giovani which was right across from hers! Mrs. Gina paid the movers to unload and build so it was one less thing for her to have to do!  She had Zac to place the bassinet beside her bed and she changed Giovani before laying him down! She showered and 45 minutes she was out!

Zac, "You really needed that shower huh?"

Fatima, "Boy what? Are you trying to say I stink?"

Zac, "No I'm saying you're tired and it's written all over your face!"

Fatima, "Well I actually am! Hospital Chairs aren't really comfortable! Plus I slept sitting up and that was not a good position! My back hurts bad!"

Zac, "Would you consider me giving you a massage?"

Fatima, "Sure! I think it'll help!"

Fatima laid down and slid the top of her Gown down while Zac massaged her back!

Zac, "What do you think of the house?"

Fatima, "It's beautiful but you still haven't given me a price!"

Zac, "Fatima it's a gift!"

Fatima, "Zac you know better than anyone I'm not a leech! I love to pay my way!"

Zac, "I know but you've been so selfless! I just want to give you something that's yours! I'll change the deed and put it in your name and everything! All you have to do is agree!"

Zac Finished Fatima's massage!

Fatima, "Umm can I nap on that thought?"

Zac stood up, "Of course you can! Do you need anything?"

Fatima, "No I just want to lay down!"

Zac, "Alright well I'll turn the baby monitor on and I'll be downstairs!"

Fatima, "Okay thank you!"

Fatima slid into the bed and released her robe slightly! The bed was comfortable and before she knew it she was sleep!

Mrs. Gina, "Zac I went to tell Fatima the Nursery was finished but she is sleep can you let her know for me?"

Zac, "Of Course! Thank You!"

Mrs. Gina, "No thank you! I'll see y'all later!"

Zac locked the door and walked up stairs! He slid the bassinet into the corner and took Giovani and placed him into his crib! He went back to tell Fatima!

Zac tapped her shoulder and her eyes opened, "The nursery is finished! I placed Giovani in his crib and I have the Monitor placed on the night stand so you can see and hear him! I'm going to my house to shower and take a nap! If you need me just call!"

Fatima, "Okay thank you!" She closed her eyes back and went right back to sleep!

Zac made sure he set the alarm and locked the door! He texted Fatima the alarm code which he changed to her birthday and he went to shower! He stayed in the shower for at least an hour! He needed to decompress! Gladys shenanigans had him feeling broken again and he hated being in that place! He fought so hard to come out of it but she was always the one person who could take him there! He turned the shower off and dried off before sliding into the bed! He turned on a sermon and in 15 minutes he was asleep!
