Fatima was up because it was time for Giovani's feeding! She changed him and made him a bottle! She checked her phone and seen she had a missed call Angela, Jana, and Lori! She sent them a picture of Giovani! Her phone started ringing she answered it!

Phone Call

Jana, "He's handsome!"

Angela, "Whose baby?"

Lori, "Bitch don't tell me you were hiding a baby under that rack of yours!"

Fatima laughing, "I'm fostering him! His name is Giovani Amir Taylor! He's Zac's baby brother but I didn't know before I agreed to be his foster mother! I found out at the hospital but I asked Zac to sign the birth certificate because they are blood related by his mom so we will be raising him together! I just named him!"

Lori, "Fatima that's dope!"

Angela, "Yeah you're definitely one of a kind!"

Jana, "Ang don't you mean kind of the ONE! The stars are aligning baby!"

Fatima, "They may be but the ball is definitely in Zac's court!"

Angela, "So how are y'all going to co-parent?"

Fatima, "That's what I wanted to tell y'all!"

Lori, "What girl?"

Fatima, "He moved me into the other part of his duplex!"

Angela, "He did what?"

Fatima, "Girl yes! I wanted to pay for it but he said it was a gift and idk how I feel about that because y'all know I like to handle my own! Hell I let Ian ass do the same thing and look where that left me!"

Jana, "Zac is definitely not Ian and if he said it was a gift believe him! That man has never lied to you about anything!"

Fatima, "I know which makes me want to jump his bones even more!"

Lori, "Don't put that WAP 4,000 on that man until you heal!"

Fatima, "I'm not but I need to start healing!"

Angela, "Now is the time! Do you know who your trauma counselor will be?"

Fatima, "I don't but with my luck, I bet it's Zac!"

Jana, "Well T he does run the program so that does make a lot of sense!"

Fatima, "Yeah I know plus I'm sure he got all my records so I'll ask him when he comes back over!"

Lori, "Well we will see you when we get off!"

Fatima, "Alright! I love you ladies!"

Everyone, "We love you too!"

Giovani was finished feeding so she burped him!

Fatima, "Ouu that was a strong burp huh?"

Zac, "It sure was!"

Fatima, "Boy I didn't even hear you come in!"

Zac sat down on the bed, "Of course you wouldn't I'm like a thief in the night Fr!"

Fatima, "I see that! Did you hear my conversation?"

Zac, "Only if you wanted me to!"

Fatima, "No I didn't that's why I'm asking!" *dropping her head*

Zac lifted her chin, "What did I tell you about that? Your feelings are definitely valid! Stop treating them as though they don't mean anything!"

Fatima, "Yeah I know but I do have a question!"

Zac leaned back, "Okay shoot!"

Fatima, "Who is my trauma counselor at the center?"

Zac, "I am Fatima! I didn't want to pressure you into talking about anything so I just never said it! I wanted to wait until you're ready to heal!"

Fatima, "Well I wanted to start my therapy soon!"

Zac, "What's soon?"

Fatima, "Well can I have a small session right now?"

Zac, "Sure! Just tell me what you need from me!"

Fatima, "Well you could lay Giovani down and meet me in my office?"

Zac, "Now that I can definitely do!" Zac picked Giovani up and took him to the nursery! Fatima brushed her teeth again and walked into her office! 5 minutes later Zac entered!

Zac looked at Fatima, "Trauma is dark and it comes in all forms! This conversation will be raw and uncut! In order for us to have this connection you must be ready to step back into that dark place! Prepare to cry, for your heart to break all over again, and to feel empty and drained! You need to know that it may take you back to all the emotions you felt when it occurred! It's okay to feel that way! I know that was a dark place for you but I'm going to have to turn the lights off for you to be able to transition back into the woman you were then! You may feel cold and alone but know that I am here and I'll reassure you every step of the way!"

Zac flipped the switch off and Fatima felt a cold breeze! She was basically trembling! Zac looked at her and grabbed her hands!

Zac, "I need for you to breathe! It's time for us to go back to where it all started the first time you fell victim to Ian's narcissistic ways! Follow the sound of my voice! I won't sit still during this! I need you know that I will be moving! Whenever you want to take a break reach for my hand! Whenever you want to stop hold your hand up! I will grab you from time to time don't be scared! This is the only way I can ensure that you don't go into shock! Stay with me and we will navigate through your trauma together! Always remember to breathe!"

Fatima was still trembling but knowing that she wasn't alone made her feel 10 times better! She closed her eyes and prepared to drift back to where it all started!
