139 AC. Kings Landing

King Aemond sat in the small council chambers amongst the other members to discuss the recent confession from the one they now know to be cheese. Lady Mysaria told them all she knew of the rat catcher. He was a boy who grew up in Flea Bottom, who mapped out every single tunnel in the Red Keep. The night of Rhaenas death, Aemond took the children and had them all bathed while he stood outside the rooms with his sword in hand. Once they were all done, Aemond escorted them back to the room his children all piled into. Aemma had not been in here with her cousins, but Aemond wanted all of the children to be together. Especially after what she just witnessed, she should not be alone. Aemond picked her up and carried her while she burried her head in his shoulder crying. When they got to the room, a few of his children were awake and confused. There was a guard posted inside the room with young royals with the door open. Once Aemond reached the room, he dismissed the guard. Instead of telling them what happened. Aemond just told them to go back to bed. After that, he pulled Aemma, Anakin, Aries, and Aisha aside.

Aemond: I am so sorry. I am especially sorry to you, Aemma.
Aemma: *hugs Aemond/sniffles*
Aemond: You will be safe here. I promise I will look after you.
Aemma: I want my mama. *sniffles*
Aemond: I know. I will do my best to reunite you both very soon. But I swear, I will protect you until that can happen.

Aemma nodded her head before moving to stand next to Anakin. Aemond looked at this and grew a warmth in his chest. Their interactions have reminded him of he and Ahsoka when they were children.

Anakin: Is everyone OK?
Aisha: Grandmother... she's hurt, isn't she?
Aemond: *narrows gaze* She will be alright. How did you know?
Aisha: *shrugs* I don't know.
Aries: She did that with the walls, too.
Aemond: Walls?
Anakin: Aisha found a door we used to get to Aemma. *holds Aemmas hand*
Aemond: *looks to Aisha* You are a wonder... just like your Muña. (Mother)
Aisha: *smiles* Thank you, Kepa. (Father)

Over the years, Aisha has grown to be more, I suppose one would say knowing. Aemond and Ahsoka determined that perhaps she was a dreamer of sorts. Aisha always knew things that she wasn't supposed to. Always surprising those around her with her accurate predictions of the future or of the current day. After Aemond spoke to them all about what happened, he put them to bed. Making sure to give Aemma extra attention and tuck her in. As well as lighting a candle next to her and tells her, "It will keep away the nightmares. But don't worry. I will be here when you wake up." Aemma raised herself off the bed and hugged Aemond, who sat on the edge of the bed next to her. Then she lays a kiss to his cheek before laying her head back on the bed. Aemond gets up and walks over to the cradle, holding his now two year old daughter. Aemond picks up Ashara and smiles as she starts to fuss a bit before falling back asleep while cradled in her fathers arms. Aemond looks back at the faces of the children before moving to sit in front of the fireplace. Ashara shifts in her sleep and rests her head on Aemonds chest. Aemond looks from Asharas face to his sword leaning on the chair next to him. And then to the fireplace. "Hurry home soon, my Blue Star." Aemond looked out the window to see the blue light of the shining star in the sky. How seeing that star every night brought him peace while his wife was away.

Back to the present day. As Aemond sat on the council, he was fuming. He is more angry than ever at the intrusion as well as the attempt on his families lives. "According to the man. He was sent by the false king Jacaerys. His goal was to return with Princess Aemma and Prince Anakin." Mysaria said. Aemond stood abruptly, pulling everyone's attention.

Aemond: Why my son?
Mysaria: "An heir for an heir." Was what he said your grace.
Aemond: We did not take Aemma!
Corlys: Prince Jacaerys has always been envious of the Queen. He saw this as a way to hurt you. To hurt her.
Jaxton: Make her feel guilty for not being here to protect them.
Aemond: She... is protecting them, Lannister.
Jaxton: Of course, your grace. I meant no offense. I only meant that Jace wanted to get to her. The best way is by kidnapping her child.
