139 AC. Riverlands
A/N. I hoped everyone enjoyed watching my husband... I mean Ahsokas husband on the season 2 premiere. As well as Alicent 👀
Also want everyone to know. Right now, Daemon is flying to Harrenhal. The Riverlands are one of the constituent regions of the Six Realms. They have been a frequent battleground in the civil wars that have afflicted the former Seven Kingdoms and also in the wars that took place between the old nations of the continent before Aegon's Conquest. During the time of the First Men, the Riverlands were an independent kingdom ruled by the King of the Rivers and Hills. Located roughly in the center of the continent, and with few geographical boundaries such as mountains, for centuries, it has been a borderland between surrounding strong kingdoms. The Riverlands were ruled by the Ironborn at the time of the Targaryen Conquest, and Aegon the Conqueror's assault was assisted by a popular uprising led by House Tully.
A fortnight after the wedding of Cregan and Elaena, the North followed their King south to the Riverlands. After many passionate nights with his new wife, Elaena Stark, he's now camped out with his men at the Blue Fork. "My King. Why are we here?" The head of House Karstark asked. "We have won our war, we have secured our lands... we have defeated The Boltons. We should be in The North." He continued.
Karstark: The war of the Iron Throne is none of our concern.
Cregan: Is that how you feel? *looks around* Is that how you all feel?
Men: *look around/silence*
Karstark: Leave the southerns to their squabbles.
Cregan: And... who do you think actually defeated the Boltons? Who brought an end to their line?
Karstark: *clenches jaw*
Cregan: Who brought dragons north? Who gave us our Kingdom?
Men: *murmur*
Cregan: You, my lord, forget. We have everything because of Queen Ahsoka. If you wish to leave, then go. Take your men back, North. But you will be named a traitor in the eyes of Winter.Cregan stares down Lord Karstark, who wants to say something but chooses to stay silent. Ahsoka appeared in the corner of Cregans eye, walking through the camp seemingly in a rush.
Brother,
I know you are in the Riverlands fighting against my troops from the Vale. I wish to call a truce between us and meet. I have always loved you, and I will continue loving you when this war comes to an end. Meet me in the mountains north of The Trident. I wish you no ill will nor have I ever. Please, Lucaerys.
Ahsoka
Ahsoka watched as Luke read the letter through the eyes of a rat. On the floor just under a chair. She watched Luke put on his riding cloak and leave his room at Harrenhal. Being at Harrenhal was one of the most surreal experiences of his life. "This is where he died..." Luke said to himself when he first arrived. Obviously speaking of the fire that killed Ser Harwin and his father.
She scurried her way through the hole in the door, almost stepped on by a maid. "Damn vermin!" The woman seethed as she almost tripped. Ahsoka jumped down each step, following her brother at a distance before making it outside. She sees a raven about to land on a man forearm with a letter attached to its leg. As the bird gets closer, Ahsoka then wargs from the rat to the bird just before it can land. "HEY!" The man called out trying to catch the bird that swooped around and started flying away. After dodging an arrow, Ahsoka finds Luke on his horse riding out to a clearing where Arrax resides. Before Ahsoka stops her control of the bird, she convinces its mind to fly the message to the same place she and Luke are to meet. She watches Luke take off before opening her eyes in her own tent. She stood and made her way out of the tent. Dressed in black leathers, she walked through camp. She reaches the horses before Cregan calls out to her.
