Dante spoke to an officer "Get this to the lab. We need to know what it was doing here and who it belongs to."

Officer "Yes sir. Right away."

Dante continues to comb through the disaster that is the apartment and finds a spot of blood.

He takes his kit and swipes the swab against it then uses the drops and states "We need CSU in here."

Maxie was still fighting in the trunk to get free but suddenly felt the car jerk.

Nathan was led out of the car to a small cellar.

The man stated "I hope you enjoy your new accommodations you will be here a while."

Nathan noticed a tiny mattress and a chain attached to the ground.

He hated the idea that Maxie would have to live like that.

Maxie was brought inside the cellar but couldn't see Nathan as she was blindfolded as well as tied up and gagged.

The man said "I'm going to remove your gag but if you fight I will hurt you. I know your cop fiancée wouldn't like that since you're carrying his baby."

Maxie thought "How could he know that? We barely told anyone? Was he watching us? How does he know Nathan is my fiancée? How does he know I'm pregnant?"

The man said "Miss Jones enjoy your accommodations. I'm not sure if they'll be more or less comfortable than the last two times you were someone's hostage."

Nathan shouted for Maxie "Where are you? I don't know who this maniac is but I know Dante will find us."

Maxie couldn't hear Nathan being locked in a room that was about 20 feet from him.

Nathan kept shouting louder and louder but no answer until finally the man said "Maxie can't hear you. She's too far away."

Nathan "You sick bastard. If you touch her I will kill you."

The man said "You're chained to the floor so I would love to see you try. Besides I don't want to do that with her. She will make a lovely accessory to my garden though."

Nathan "What are you talking about?"

The man said "Like I would tell you. Of course I may add you to my garden too. The view is spectacular. Surrounded by beautiful gorgeous women."

Nathan "I think you have some screws loose."

The man said "You need to stop antagonizing me. You think your father is bad he hasn't met me."

Nathan "How do you know who my father is?"

The man said "Remember that camera? I heard many conversations."

Nathan "You never met him. How do you know you're worse?"

The man "Take my word for it. I am."

Maxie was in her restraints chained to the floor not able to move much so she took the opportunity to look for anything to pick the lock of her chains.

Her limited range of motion made that very hard.

Suddenly the man approached her "Dear I made sure there are no tools to pick a lock with. I know about that scuffle with Levi or should I say Peter Harrell. I know you can use a pin or paperclip to pick a lock. I made sure there are none. Not one thing you can use to break free."

Maxie looked at him with anger in her eyes so determined to get free and get Nathan.

More than anything she was determined to make sure their baby was safe and unharmed.
