Nigel: Spencer? Is it possible for us to meet tomorrow for coffee? There's a little coffeehouse near your place in the mall ?  Verna's.

Spencer: You , me and Richard? Alright. I suppose.

Nigel: No. Actually Richard won't be there. I told him I want to talk to you. About the restaurant and the books. He is going to stay home. At his place I mean. I'm taking the metro.

Spencer: My brother will not be there.

Nigel: No. He won't.

Spencer:  You want to meet me to talk about a restaurant that is not even officially open yet.

Nigel: Yes. I guess.

Spencer: The odds of that is highly unlikely. What do you really want? To tell me my brother has finally come out as bisexual and you two are a couple now ? I knew that already.

Nigel: You knew what? No. I don't want to discuss that. I need. I want. I just need to talk to a friend and I don't have many in the states. That I can trust. That are as smart as you.

Spencer: I do have the highest IQ ever. But you want to talk to me as a friend? The odds of that is even more unlikely. Me as a friend ? My only friend is DuBuis.

Nigel: Ok , this may be a mistake. Please don't tell your brother about this.

Spencer: When do you want to meet for coffee tomorrow? Friendship is not my specialty but it's not beyond the realm of possibility. I can drive over and drive you home after. To the home you claim you don't have with my brother.

Nigel: Noon ? Or something like that? Thank you, Spencer. I need to talk.

Spencer: So do I. Oddly enough. Noon sounds fine.

Luci: Sorry I missed your texts, Country Boy. Bougie Academy is like a rollercoaster. The day never stops. How was your day?

Sol: Ok. I guess.

Luci: Sol , are you ok ?

Sol : Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?

Luci: No reason. After homework you want to head to mall for ice cream? Poppy Andrew said he would pay. He and Mama Glory are kinda awesome. I wish they could stay forever. I think my uncles want the same thing.

Sol : Nah. I'm not hungry.

Luci: Are you ok ! Are you sick! What happened at school!

Sol : Nothing.

Sol : I got into a fight again with Keller. He started it. Again. He had his goons hold me while he sucker punched me. I got suspended for two days. Real suspension. My MeeMaw is so mad. She's walking around the house talking to herself. Bad enough she's mad that Jim doesn't want to talk to her.

Luci: What! What happened to him , the big bully ?

Sol : He got a day of in school suspension.

Luci: Country Boy , we need to figure out how to get you out that school. Bougie Academy is weird but not that bad.

Sol : Yeah. Well, Science Girl, MeeMaw is reading the information your rich Uncle Richard email her. About the poor kid scholarship at Bougie Academy. She actually looks interested. I probably still can't get in. And if I get in I won't stay in. I'm dumb.

Luci : No. You're not ! Look come out with me and Poppy Andrew. You don't have to tell your granny who you're meeting. Although she seems to like Mama Glory and Poppy Andrew. Please? For me?
