Nigel lowered his phone and with his other hand reached out to grab and squeeze Richard's hand as he lay on the stretcher in the back of the ambulance. " Don't you die on me, you wanker ," he said huskily. " Don't you dare leave me. You hear ? " Then he leaned down and whispered into his ear ," It's my turn to play your husband, ok. I love you. "

A speechless Spencer handed the cell phone to his father Andrew who took it from him curiously. Andrew read the text and his eyes widened in shock and disbelief. He called out in a shaking voice," Glory! "
Spencer finally found his voice. " We'll take my car. I'll drive. We'll call DuBuis on the way." Then he hesitated before saying," Should we call ...... Mother? Lorraine? "

Lonnie stood on his apartment balcony. He laughed roughly. " Well it didn't pan out the way I planned it to but at least Nigel will lose his Daddy meal ticket. "
