Hey everyone!! I'm finally back!

Just a little warning....don't expect too much from this chapter. Nothing much really happened, but it's better to stick to the planned story. This chapter is a bit smaller compared to the last few (though not by much).

Also, I suggest reading the upcoming chapters just for the feels—fun, cute, lovely moments! There won't be any major events for a little while, but it won't be boring, I promise. After these few chapters, a twist is coming!

inline comments would be appreciated!

AUTHOR'S POV-

"It feels like they've just gotten engaged," Rakshit said, shaking his head in disbelief. His gaze remained fixed on the couple standing across the room—side by side, their cheeks dusted in pink, their smiles shy and full of wonder. "Kaun bolega inki shaadi ho chuki hai?" he added, voice low with amusement. Pichu wiggled in his arm, as if he was understanding everything.

(Who would say that they are married?)

Only moments ago, Rashvik and Sarakshi had finally confessed to each other. Words once trapped behind hesitation and unspoken feelings had spilled out, raw and real. And now, though the truth hung in the air, shimmering like sunlight on still water, it still felt unreal. Not just to them, but to everyone who had witnessed this slow-burn love story unfold.

For so long, every soul in the house had silently—or very vocally manifested this moment. They had nudged, teased, hoped, and prayed for the day these two would finally behave like the couple they were always meant to be. And now, that moment had arrived. It was beautiful. Surreal.

Rashvik tilted his head to look at her, a soft smile stretching across his face, genuine, unfiltered, and full of awe. His heart was still racing, as if it couldn't quite catch up to what had just happened.

Sarakshi, sensing his gaze, turned her head too. Their eyes met—an unspoken language flowing between them, fragile and powerful at once. The same disbelief, the same joy, the same overwhelming affection danced in her expression.

Their smiles widened in perfect sync. Their eyes twinkled not just with love, but with the magic of recognition. As if they had just rediscovered something they never realized they were missing.

Sarakshi's entire face had turned a vibrant shade of red, glowing with emotion. Rashvik's cheeks burned too, but he didn't look away. Instead, he let his hand glide over to hers, gently lacing their fingers together. The contact sent a spark down his spine, grounding him.

Then, slowly, purposefully, he tugged her closer. Their arms brushed, and with a quiet sigh of contentment, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, a protective gesture, but also a claiming one. A quiet declaration.

She responded instinctively, her hand settling over his side, just above his abdomen, her touch feather-light but full of intent. Their bodies aligned, hearts thudding louder with every breath, syncing in rhythm as if trying to memorize each beat.

For a moment, the world around them blurred—the room, the onlookers, the murmurs, even Rakshit's stunned expression faded away.

All that remained was this two people standing, wrapped in a warmth they had only dared to dream of.

"Muh mitha karna toh banta hai na, itni badi baat hui hai aaj," Rakshit exclaimed, his face glowing with excitement. Reyansh nodded eagerly in agreement, eyes sparkling with joy.

(We've got to celebrate with something sweet)

The couple, still lost in their tender moment, gently pulled away, smiles lingering on their lips as their arms remained loosely wrapped around each other—a silent vow of closeness they weren't ready to break just yet.
