"I know, Yeosang–" Wooyoung says with a subtle sigh. "It's just a delicate situation, and the details of it all really rattle my brain."

"But, that's it, right? The company is out of your name?" Yeosang asks through the phone, his tone even and calm, trying to not pry invasively, though Wooyoung knew it was far from his intent.

"Well, yes, after the trial and everything, the company will be fully in Beomgyu's name. I chose to sell it, to part away from all of the evil deeds that company has committed, but Beomgyu insisted that he'd take over and rebrand; to start anew." Wooyoung sits down on the sofa in his living space as he holds his phone to his ear, a laptop perched open on the coffee table ahead of him, met with the quiet space of the apartment that was void of San's presence.

"I'm shocked that he even wanted the company, but I suppose it's for the best. He's getting divorced, isn't he?"

"Yeah, I guess Sun-hee said some things that were out of line, and he had enough. So, he's doing what's right for him, and he's divorcing her. I'm proud of him for standing up for what's right, especially in terms of what that bitch deserves, anyway," Wooyoung explains, a slight dismissive murmur attuned to his voice as his sentence trails off. Yeosang laughs through the line, a cheerful remark in response to Wooyoung's truthful sentiment.

"She definitely deserved it, that's for sure. I'm just glad he finally saw that too!"

"I just want the best for him, given that he's likely losing both of his parents, his marriage, the career he thought was promised to him, and everything he's really ever known. All he has is himself, so I. . . I don't know– even though we aren't brothers, I don't want him to feel that he has nothing."

"I'm sure he appreciates that, Woo. I'm just so proud of you for being mature about all of this. Beomgyu wasn't always nice to you, and to see the two of you acting like a united front. . . it's amazing to see."

"Yeah," Wooyoung says with a soft tone. "I've held enough grudges against those I grew up with, but the more I found out about my aunt and uncle, the more I realized how poisoned Beomgyu's mind truly was. He was trapped in the same way I had been, and it's just disheartening to see."

"It's time that the both of you heal from all of this. They'll be convicted, justice will be served, and then we can all celebrate a new chapter for the both of you. I haven't properly met Beomgyu, but I'd like to think that he'd mesh well in our little group, especially so he doesn't feel alone in this new chapter of his own life."
