"Joong'ah?" Seonghwa calls, shuffling through a bag of miscellaneous supplies, nearly in a fuss in the search of something that seemed far from his grasp.

The male soon enters the space, adjusting the sleeves of his sweater as he moves closer, placing a hand on Seonghwa's lower back. "I'm here, what's up?"

"I can't find my phone, and I'm late–" Seonghwa expresses, threading a hand through his long locks of hair. "I have a very important meeting with a client from Versace, and I cannot be this late–!"

"Hey, it's alright, take a breath," Hongjoong tries to soothe, peering around his partner, looking amongst the flood of items Seonghwa had dumped onto their bed, still somehow missing his phone despite having looked through his work bag.

"I need to leave in the next few minutes if I'm to meet with this international client, Joong, I can't afford to miss this or to make a bad impression if I want to see my career do anything but remain stagnant," Seonghwa explains, moving his hand through the items scattered amongst their bed linens, yet unable to locate his cell phone.

"I understand, just take a breath, focus on where you've had it last," Hongjoong replies, taking a step back, further assessing the small array of chaos that Seonghwa had left to unveil.

In the last three months, Seonghwa and Hongjoong had been fully living together, finally biting the bullet and accepting the fact that they could hardly function without the other. Times began to grow tough when Seonghwa realized that Hongjoong's working situation pulled him deeper into the throes of a pattern, one that painted long days and sleepless nights. Hongjoong was working hard, trying to make a name for himself while still working beneath San's father at Eun Media. He wasn't as busy because of San's father, but rather because of his own perfectionist methods, trying to release new music and compose others, working until he nearly made himself sick.

Seonghwa was worried, mainly because Hongjoong always placed his responsibilities over that of himself, choosing isolation over companionship, seeking to see through an end to whatever he was devoting his heart and time into rather than resting his eyes and mind to see through another day. He was truly confined into his chair and work schedule, leaving little room for their relationship to prosper.

A month ago, Seonghwa began to grow busier. His company, which had been mildly busy in the past, had gained reputation because of a marketing campaign he had done with ELLE, sparking more clients, more photoshoots, and even more models. Seonghwa was used to the busy schedules and time constraints, finding time easier to manage with Yeosang handling the details, but what he didn't realize is that he had abandoned his mornings with Hongjoong in trade for such a lavish schedule, only really seeing his partner when he returned from his late schedules and slumped himself into bed, trying to regain some energy to commit to another day spent in his rented office space nearby their apartment.
