The morning came with a whir of emotions that all felt unfamiliar to Wooyoung. He was stuck in a place of excitement, coated with anticipation, all doused and glued together with the realization that he was soon to be married. It hit him, just as his friends had warned him, and the moment he felt it all, he couldn't stop himself from crying. Of course, they weren't tears of sadness, but tears of relief and love, warmed with the thought of forever remaining happy, marrying the one person who not only felt like home, but had become a safe space in a world that felt like it was out to ravage him.
Wooyoung was sitting down in a chair currently, amusingly watching the chaos unfold around him. All of the staff, along with the hired help in terms of stylists and coordinators, had been running around all morning, making sure everything was up to par and going according to plan. Wooyoung was sipping on something Seonghwa had concocted, and though he wasn't completely sure what was within the drink, but he could taste the vague trickles of alcohol between the sweetness of the fruit.
"There's only an hour left," the coordinator says as she steps forward, brushing locks of her hair aside. "How are you feeling?"
"I think I'm somewhere between nervous and excited, but. . . that has to be normal, isn't it?"
She laughs gently, nodding as she speaks. "Of course it's normal. I visited San not too long ago, and he's feeling all of the same things. It's just part of the atmosphere; weddings are filled with so many emotions, but the biggest thing you will feel is overwhelming love."
"I feel that," Wooyoung replies quietly, tapping his fingers against the glass in his hand. "Being with him is the only thing I could ever want in life."
"Then use that exact thought to power you through the final stressors of the day. There isn't much time left, and soon you'll be walking down not only for yourself, but for the lives you're going to begin together."
Wooyoung smiles, nodding slightly. "Yes, I will. There's not much time left, and all I want to do is cherish every moment."
"I'll leave you to it, then." The coordinator smiles as she eyes Wooyoung from head to toe, taking in every detail, allowing a breath to pass through her lips softly. "You look amazing, and I know without a doubt in my mind, that you two will look like the most radiant couple I've ever had the pleasure of working with."
"Thank you," Wooyoung says, allowing his genuine gratitude to bleed through his tone, trying to convey just how truly thankful he was. "Not only for today, but for everything you've done for us in the past few months. Finding the venue, helping us get exactly what we wanted, especially on such short notice."
