A/N: It's summer y'all! (Though to me, its the season of dying to the heat 🫠). My question for you guys is:

If you could reserve a place all through the summer, what would it be: a palace, theme park, or a beach?

As I said in the last chapter, whichever gets the most votes will be included in a side story!

Also, speaking of side stories, this chapter calls back on the side story "A Gift for Crewel"! Check it out if you haven't! (I trust y'all completely to know the side story since you've come this far. You wouldn't break my trust right?)

Also again: I finished the event story (again in one day 😅) so now it's just smooth sailing until I write it again

Once the two arrived at the Purple Stage, they looked on in awe, seeing that people were already clamoring for seats, talking amongst themselves while they head to the back. "Wow, they were workin' hard on this stage the last time we came by, and now it's totally finished," Grim says as they look around, seeing that compared to earlier, there were only a few students left on site, probably doing the main last-minute checks for visual so people in the stands could see the stage better. They could see that some students stood around, using some camera of sorts in the sky, with others looking at the giant screen, perfectly capturing the sights and scenes of the stadium. Speaking of cameras, the two noticed that some of the people in the stadium weren't students, some donning camera equipment and other devices that seemed foreign to them, with them briefly getting an idea of what they might be used for as they converse amongst themselves, some just setting up their equipment and others gathering in groups.

Angel shuddered at the sight, seeing that some of the people looked at her in slight shock as they pass through, some interested in the fact that she was the only girl in Night Raven College, and others giving her a passing glance before focusing on the stage, ready for the main event. "All these cameras are making me nervous."

"Hey, you two!" A person approach them, making them stop. "SDC rehearsals are starting soon. This place is off-limits to the general public. Out you go."

The statement makes the two look at them in shock, and was about to say something until they heard another set of footsteps approach them, seeing Vil walking towards them. "Excuse me," he says to the person. "That girl and beast are part of our production team. Can't you see their staff passes?"

The person looks at him in shock. "V-Vil Schoenheit?!" They say as they look at Angel and Grim, seeing the said passes around their necks. The person took a closer look, seeing Angel and then glances back at Vil, eyes widened in slight surprise. "Pardon me," they say as they walk off and focus on other tasks. Angel and Grim sighed a breath of relief at the sight, at least happy that they weren't kicked from something they had permission to attend.

"Bold of you to arrive last, Manager," Vil says, bringing them out of their sighs.

"Did you take in the sights and sounds of the festival?" Rook asks as the rest of the group approaches them.

"You guys oughta see the line of people outside the coliseum waitin' for same-day tickets. It's nuts!" Grim happily states.

"Really? Well, it's nice to know people are excited," Kalim happily says.

"Yeah...excited..." Angel quietly says, still shuddering at the looks some of the women are giving her from when they were walking earlier. She noticed that some of the crew members working in the stadium were giving her looks as well, making her have to turn away and, hopefully, hope that her presence was masked somehow from sight.
