"Rgh..." Vil groans a bit at the bright light, opening his eyes and slowly sitting up. "How am I...?"

"Vil!" Rook happily exclaims, making him look at him in confusion as he helps Vil to his feet. "Oh, thank goodness. The light is back in your eyes." He happily states as he inspects him.

"What a relief..." Kalim sobs. "Viiiil! I was so worried!"

"Why are YOU crying, Kalim?" Jamil sighs. "Good thing we made it just in time after that whole thing. I was almost afraid that even we wouldn't make it."

"Phew..." Deuce sighs in relief, the freshmen helping Angel reorient herself to the bright world again. "I was afraid I'd hit you in the wrong place."

Vil look at the group around him in worry, and glanced over at the person who helped him. She gave a small smile, a tired expression on her face and he takes a moment to speak. "I'm...sorry you had to see that undignified display," he says apologetically. "Only third-rate people throw temper tantrums and take their problems out on others. My conduct was the most unbecoming of all..."

"Yer right about that," Epel says with a smirk. "Ah thought you said people grow outta temper tantrums by the time they're three?" He jokingly spat the words out.

"Ha ha ha..." Angel chuckles, remembering how the tables have turned. Who would have thought that Epel would tell Vil off.

"Yes..." Vil says. "You're absolutely right, Epel. I'm no longer fit to be your leader."

"It would not do to flatter yourself, Roi du Poison," Rook speaks. "I'm afraid you'll find that none of us are lying prone," he says with a smile.

"What...?" Vil skeptically says, seeing everyone's injuries.

"Rook's right, Vil," Kalim assures him. "You haven't actually hurt anyone. You haven't stepped over the brink yet."

"Listen," Jamil states. "Neige LeBlanche is out there right now, dancing happily with the seven dwarfs."

"After the way you ran us through the wringer training us to get here, there's no way we're letting you pull out because of a few bruises," Ace smirks.

"It's a stretch..." Jamil thinks for a while, looking around at the wrecked coliseum. "But lets just say we got a little overly worked up in practice and got into a team brawl."

Vil looked at the group. "All of you...You just want to pretend none of this happened?"

"I never said that," Jamil corrects. "All I'm saying is that we can hold off on explaining this to the faculty until after the competition."

"Heh..." Vil chuckles. "Jamil, you are truly wicked-" He winces in slight pain as he stumbles. "Urgh..."

"Vil!" Rook exclaims in concern.

"Oh, stop," Vil sighs. "I just stumbled a bit. Spare me your plaintive cries."

"Your injuries are no small matter," Rook states as he stands next to him. "Please, you mustn't strain yourself. Here, lean upon my shoulder." Vil only sighs as the proposal; however, not moving from his spot at least. Rook looks to Angel. "Angel. Thank you very much for assisting Vil. My, you were breathtaking standing up to Vil," he happily states. "My such passion, such tenacity, such bravery, you truly are marvelous," he says with a smile.

"Ah...no...I'm not," she says.

"Non!" He interjects. "Never have I seen a beautiful light before in my life. You helped brought Roi du Poison back. I could never have been more grateful. My, truly you are a symbol. You have tamed Vil back to his beautiful self. My, I might call you Reine de la Paix!"
