"Well, well," a familiar voice says, approaching the eight. "What have we here?"

Everyone looks at the source of the voice, eyes wide in surprise. "You're-" Vil says in shock.

"I thought I'd arrive a bit early, and what Do I find but a stage laid to waste?" The horned figure says as he approaches the eight.

"Oh, hi, Midnight!" Angel happily greets him, ignoring her exhaustion.

"'MIGNIGHT'?!" Everyone exclaims in shock at the name, looking at the figure and Angel in surprise, making her confused.

"Oh, hey!" Grim says as he walks over towards him, and the figure looks down at him. "So you're that Horton guy who wanders around the Ramshackle Dorm garden late at night. I heard about you from Angel. You really do have horns growin' outta your head! Myah hah hah-" Deuce quickly runs and grab Grim by the mouth, making him shocked. "MRAH!"

"Grim, are you nuts?!" Deuce whispers to him. "Y-you can't just talk to an upperclassman that way!"

"Angel!" Ace calls her in concern. "You're really calling THIS guy Midnight? Do you have a death wish?!"

"Don'y ya know who this is?!" Epel asks her in shock and concern.

She looked at everyone's reactions, seeing that there was a look of shock on their face as they await her answer. She looked at them in confusion in return. "He told me to call him what I wanted," she answers, making them even more shocked as they looked at him, seeing a hint of a smile at the scene. Was he REALLY that bad?

"Roi des Dragons, how did you get into the coliseum?!" Rook exclaims.

"I was invited, by the child of man living in Ramshackle Dorm," he frowns at the accusation. "I have my invitation right here," he waves the familiar piece of paper.

"That's not what I was asking..." Rook says, still stunned at the explanation. Angel mentally laughed at the sight. It was quite rare to see Rook of all people stunned about something. "The entire venue is still enveloped in the cursed poison mist generated by Vil's signature spell. There's no way anyone coming into contact with that curse would come out of it unscathed."

"Oh yes," he says in thought. "I suppose there was some sort of cantrip up when I came in. But no curse, no matter how powerful, will work on me," he smirks.

"Hmph," Vil scoffs. "I see you've taken advantage of Angel's ignorance to have a bit of sport. Housewarden of Diasomnia, the dorm based on the lofty spirit of the Thorn Fairy...Malleus Draconia!"

Huh? Angel looks at him, seeing that he was smiling at her, mostly from the fact that the secret has been out. She thought about the name. She's heard that name before. Plenty of times, actually; however, the main thing that stood out to her was... "So that's what M.D. stood for!" She exclaims in realization, remembering the card.

"Indeed," he answers her with a smile. "I am Malleus Draconia, soon-to-be ruler of Briar Valley."

"Myah..." Grim says in silent shock. "You guys were talkin' about this crazy powerful guy at the Spelldrive tournament...You mean to tell me that was Horton all along?!"

"I trust you see what I meant now, when I said not knowing my name was for your own benefit," he says to her with a smirk, remembering the words he said to her. "By the way, Schoenheit," he calls, looking at Vil's appearance. "You seem to have had a bit of sport, yourself. However did you become such a mess?" He jokingly says. "You're hardly living up to the Fairest Queen's spirit."

Vil clenches his jaw. "You're not wrong..."

"What's the trouble?" He asks the group, only for them to look away from him. "Tell me, children of man," he says. For some reason, Angel felt like the question was to her compared to the group.
