"Izzy is headed out of town and I will send you the details. This is easy bait for you and less work also to make her disappear. Don't mess this up! " Emma instructed on her call with Serkan before hanging up.

"Nice! Now I have become her lackey. Atleast I know Izzy would be safer with me" Serkan reassured himself.

Before he could read the message with the details from Emma, he got another call.

"Super! What did I deserve to have both of them on my neck today?" he sighed

"Teyze(Aunt) what can I do for you?"

"Have none of you young Turks learnt manners? All answering their mobiles like this" she nagged.

" Pardon! How can I help you today?" he said, forcing out a polite tone of voice.

"Bosver (Never mind)... I have a task for you and I want it done immediately!"

Serkan sighed and rolled his eyes at another controlling woman trying to add to his stress.

"May I ask what it is?"

"That Izzy woman, keep her occupied and away from contacting Burak. I have arranged for Miss Aydin to accompany Burak here, she is the one I choose to be his future wife. So keep that woman there, I'll ensure that this side Burak accepts his fate and gets married to who is appropriate for our family status"

He was annoyed at her way of speaking and thought how Izzy was a better woman than Miss Aydin in every aspect, but he knew Burak's family would make Izzy suffer regardless if they got married.

"Anladim (Understood)", was all Serkan could utter without letting his annoyance be heard.

"Guzel!( Beautiful)" she hung up.

"Another one who gets on my nerves! What did Izzy even do to any of them, but be kind? Burak is the one that should suffer not her!" he said angrily.

Izzy left home a bit earlier that day to grab some things by the store before heading to the lodge. Emma had already notified Serkan and he was on his way too, he booked himself in the nearby lodge as he didn't want it too seem too coincidental staying at the same lodge. The road wasn't as full and it took less time to arrive there. Izzy checked in and laughed at the irony of the same suite she stayed in before, being reserved for Rachel originally. Nearby, Serkan also arrived at his accommodation and ensured he read up about all the local spots nearby and also the event that Izzy was there for. Unfortunately, he couldn't foresee everything that fate had in store for both him and Izzy.

Settling in and then heading over to the venue, Izzy went over everything that needed to still be done. So far there was no major problems and she felt a sense of relief knowing that Rachel's plans weren't in vain. After spending a few hours at the venue and checking the items that arrived on the day, she headed back to her suite. Slight flashbacks of her time here with Burak kicked in, but she pushed it aside as she called Rachel to give her an update. Finishing up her call, she tried to call room service to order some food.

"Sorry ma'am, but didn't the front desk inform you when you checked in that the kitchen closed earlier today. Due to the upcoming event and flood of guests arriving tomorrow, we gave our staff some time off to rest for the long shifts they have ahead for the next few days"

"Ahh! Yes, sorry! They informed me earlier, but it slipped my mind. No worries, I'll head out to the nearby restaurants" Izzy said.

" Do you need any recommendations ma'am?" the staff member asked politely.

"No, thanks. Have a good evening further"

As Izzy hung up, she thought about the pasta she had the last time at the restaurant not too far from the lodge. Grabbing a light cardigan, she strolled over to the restaurant. Luckily, she remembered the way well and found it easily. Taking the single table by the window, she ordered herself some carbonara  and a glass of white wine. Sipping on her wine and reading the new additions to the menu, she got a fright when she heard her name being called.
