"Hello husband to be..." Miss Aydin said , as she waltzed into Burak's office.

"This is not the marketplace you can walk into whenever you like" he said in a stern tone.

"I know, I know! I just wanted to see you before the party"

"Party?" he asked, confused.

"Your mother didn't tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"It's our engagement party, alot of business tycoons are flying in for it. In two days time, it will be held at our family hotel" she said nonchalantly.

Burak refrained himself from showing her how annoyed he was , by not knowing anything about it. Instead, he tried to remain cool and calm in front of her.

"Do you need me to do anything in particular to prepare for it?" he asked politely.

"No honey! Just come as your handsome self! I've already arranged our attire"

"Super!" he said coolly.

Miss Aydin was already acting like the mistress of the company and it annoyed Burak. He knew that his family, in particular his mother was giving her the impression that she could do whatever she wanted. Miss Aydin was well aware that there was merely no feelings between them, but her ego was more important to her than her dignity in this case. As she approached Burak by his desk, she playfully pulled him closer using his necktie as her rope.

"And don't be late or think of standing me up..." she whispered in his ear.

With a sly grin on her face, she gave Burak a peck on the cheek and then left again. When she finally left, Burak asked Yildez for a wet wipe and cleaned his cheek thoroughly.

"Does this woman need to be this forward? Or does she simply just, have no self respect?" Burak complained to Yildez.

"Sir, I think she's well aware of the situation and just enjoying toying with you. I know you don't like it, but for now you have to play along , as she's not as simple minded as she seems. She's in cahoots with your mother, which means we cannot be certain to what level they will stoop to in order to achieve their goal..." Yildez reminded him.

"You're right Yildez Bey! Keep the end goal in mind!"

"Sir, the private investigator has confirmed now, what Serkan told you was true..."

"True?..." Burak asked a bit surprised.

He was taken aback initially by what Serkan told him, but the more he thought about, the more it made sense why his mother treated and raised him a certain way.

"So, in the end..she's not even my biological mother? Yet, she wants to control my life in  order to get what she wants..." Burak muttered.

"Sir, he said he has more information, but would prefer to discuss it in person"

"Hmm.. Let's wait till Serkan arrives, I want to meet both of them on the same day"

"Noted, sir" Yildez said.

"This engagement party might be more interesting than I thought" Burak said with a smirk on his face.

Back in Cape Town, Kyle was going crazy trying to find a lead on where Emma took Izzy to. He had all his men dispatched, but he was still anxious about it. Trying to keep a clear mind, he kept replaying the cctv footage, at his wits end, he called someone.

"I know you're probably busy... I'm sorry to bother you..." he said in a distressed tone.

"What's wrong son? You don't sound good" his father said.
