I whispered to the spirit, "I'm ready to love once more,"
With a heart healed from sorrow, and scars that still felt sore.
I wasn't meant to find her, yet fate had other plans,
For out of nowhere, she arrived, to hold my trembling hands.
A grace unspoken, she appeared, a light amidst the night,
Her presence like a sunrise, dispelling darkest fright.
With every smile, my heart would leap, my soul began to sing,
In her, I found the melody that only love can bring.
Her eyes, a gentle solace, a refuge from the past,
She taught me that true love is something that can last.
With every touch, a promise, with every word, a dream,
She wove her way into my heart, like a river meets a stream.
I told the spirit I was ready, and then she came to be,
A gift of grace and wonder, she set my spirit free.
Now, in her arms, I find my home, a place where I belong,
For in her love, I'm whole again, and forever strong.
