Before the world finds its voice,
he reaches for his phone,
not searching,
just knowing.
Distance has never convinced his heart.
In crowded rooms,
on winding roads,
between errands and ordinary hours,
a quiet presence lingers beside him.
Some would call it strange.
Others, wishful thinking.
Then, without warning,
his ears begin to ring,
and warmth settles gently across his chest.
He smiles at the empty air.
"I know you're there."
People ask,
"Are you sure she's the one?"
He doesn't argue.
He simply smiles again.
He says.
"I've felt her long before words ever could."
