People ask me,

"How do you know?"

Truth is...

you don't.

Not completely.

You just wake up one morning,

look at someone,

and realize the world became a little quieter when they walked into it.

From the very beginning...

I knew.

Not because life suddenly became perfect.

Not because we never struggled.

But because she felt different.

The way she laughed.

The way she talked.

The way she'd send a simple text that somehow made an ordinary day feel extraordinary.

And yes...

the silence.

The silence still drives me crazy.

Everyone says communication is the key to a relationship.

They're right.

But love has taught me something else.

Sometimes silence isn't the end of the story.

Sometimes it's simply asking you to trust the chapter you're in.

My heart keeps whispering,

"Slow down.

You're exactly where you're supposed to be."

Maybe that's our problem.

We're always running.

Running toward tomorrow.

Running toward success.

Running toward the next milestone.

Marriage.

Children.

The perfect career.

The perfect house.

We're so busy chasing the next moment...

we forget the one we're standing in.

Life was never asking us to race.

It was asking us to notice.

Some people find love early.

Some find it late.

Some lose it...

and spend years wondering if they should ever open their heart again.

I understand that.

I've been cheated on.

I've questioned my own worth.

I've wondered if loving again was worth the pain.

It is.

Every single time.

Because love was never about avoiding heartbreak.

It's about refusing to let heartbreak become your identity.

People confuse sex with intimacy.

They're not the same.

Anyone can learn someone's body.

Intimacy is learning their fears.

Their dreams.

The things they never say out loud.

And choosing them anyway.

People ask,

"What if she says no?"

Then my answer is simple.

I tried.

I'd rather spend one lifetime knowing I was brave...

than another wondering what could have been.

Love has never promised certainty.

Only possibility.

And possibility...

is worth everything.

It's about choosing each other...

again...

and again...

and again.

I still smile when I think about all the people who walked past her...

looking for something temporary...

never realizing they were passing someone extraordinary.

Their loss.

Not mine.

Because I saw her.

Not just who she is today.

But who she's still becoming.

And if I could tell anyone one thing...

it's this.

Take the risk.

Say the words.

Hold the hand.

Buy the flowers.

Apologize when you're wrong.

Laugh until your stomach hurts.

Cry when life becomes too heavy.

Grow together.

Because relationships were never meant to be perfect.

They were meant to be lived.

So if one day someone asks me,

"Was it worth the risk?"

I'll smile.

Without hesitation.

Without fear.

Without looking back.

And I'll answer...

always.
