Author's POV:
As Abhi entered the house the first thing he met was darkness. It was all dark inside, he frowned then panic rushed in his body "isn't shivani afraid of darkness?"
He hastily walked in, and switched on his flashlight , it was still raining dogs and cats outside, but the house was dead silent. "Shivani?" He called out, but there was no response the only noise he could hear was his own heart beat and his shaking breath.
As he took a step further inside, a piercing scream came from Shivani's room "Stay away from me!" Abhi's heart raced as he sprinted towards the sound.
As he entered her room what he saw was too shocking for him to believe, He found Shivani huddled in the corner of the dark room, her body trembling violently.
Her breaths were rapid and shallow, her eyes wide with terror. The room was dark, but his flashlight made it easier to see.
"Shivani?" he called out gently yet confusingly, and she recoiled, her scream echoing in the small space. "Don't come near me!" Abhimanyu frown "Shivani what's wrong?" He questioned as he tried to reduce the distance between them.
"D..Don't" she screamed and this made Abhi stop in his track. "just stay away from me" she said as she tried her best to hide herself in the dark corner of her room,
"Don't come near me, just stay away" she kept repeating as she placed her head on her knees and hugged herself tightly, her body trembling and shaking
Abhi couldn't understand what was going on she was all fine few hours ago, and now she was going through a......." Panic attack?" Abhi said loudly realizing it for the first time.
As soon as he realized he tried to rush towards his wife to comfort her because she was unable to breathe properly but stopped again by her screams to not get close to her.
Just then his phone buzzed in his pocket-Ritika, Shivani's sister, was calling. Keeping her eyes still on shivani He quickly answered. "Ritika, shivani.....Shivani's having a panic attack." He informed her alarmed.
"Oh god jiju, Put me on video call, so I can see her," Ritika instructed urgently. "You know about her panic attacks?" Abhimanyu asked being shocked.
"Yes, umm... Jiju, I know it's a lot to take in right now, but this isn't the moment to explain. Di needs you," she said urgently. Abhi snapped out of his shock, realizing calming Shivani down was their top priority at the moment.
