Abhimanyu's POV:

Walking towards my car, I hurried inside, still struggling to process everything that had happened. My hands rested on the steering wheel, and I blinked several times, trying to clear my thoughts.

"I can't think straight anymore... I need my wife," I muttered under my breath, the words barely making it past my lips. Without wasting another second, I drove home as fast as I could to My wife... My home.

The moment I arrived, the house was quiet. It was late at night, just as I expected. The dim lights in the hall hinted that everyone was already asleep in their rooms. I could feel the weight of exhaustion on me, but there was only one thing on my mind.

Ignoring the food waiting for me in the fridge, I headed straight for our bedroom. All I wanted was to be with her. The events of today had shaken me to the core, and I knew that only her embrace could bring me the peace I desperately craved.

Reaching the bedroom, I opened the door, expecting to find my wife peacefully asleep. Instead, I was greeted by an empty bed.

"What the hell... where's my wife?" I muttered to myself, completely thrown off by the sight.

I glanced at the clock-12:30 a.m. It was late, far too late for her to be out. I walked over to the bed; it looked untouched, not a single wrinkle on the sheets. Her phone was still resting on the nightstand, which only added to my confusion.

Then her words hit me: "Well, I'm sleeping with Ritika for a few days."

"Ritika!!" I said, my frustration rising as I exited the room.

"Yaha itne sare logo ko main chahiye per meri hi biwi ko main nahi chahiye," ( So many people want me here, but my own wife doesn't.) I grumbled under my breath, annoyed as I made my way to the room where Ritika was staying, just down the hall on the same floor.

Author's POV:

Abhi reached Ritika's room and knocked twice, then took a step back, waiting for the door to open. But nothing. He didn't hear any movement from inside, so he knocked again, a little harder this time.

Still nothing.

Frustrated, he finally banged on the door with enough force to wake the whole house. Inside, Ritika jerked awake with a start, glancing at the clock-it was almost one in the morning. She heard the pounding continue and cast a quick glance at her sister, who was still sleeping peacefully beside her. Annoyed but curious, Ritika got out of bed, tiptoed to the door, and opened it, only to be met by her very irritated jiju, scowling at her.
