Abhi's POV:

I stirred awake, my senses dulled by the lingering warmth of Shivani pressed against me. Her head rested on my chest, just below the mark she has given me. My arm, heavy with sleep and possessiveness, draped around her waist, holding her close. The faint scent of her hair mixed with the remnants of their earlier... closeness. The memory of heated whispers, stolen kisses, and the electricity of forbidden passion lingered in the air, making me smile lazily.

For a moment, I forgot everything-forgot about the competition, the rules, and the fact that they weren't supposed to be here together. All that mattered was this quiet moment, just her and him.

Then came the sound of hushed whispers, a barely stifled laugh, and the unmistakable click of a phone camera.

"Yaar, mujhe toh lagta tha ki Abhi serious competitor hai," Rakshit's voice rang out, laced with mischief. "Par yeh toh alag hi championship khel raha hai!"

My eyes snapped open, immediately meeting Rakshit's grinning face and Ritika's wide, amused eyes. My body tensed, but Shivani didn't stir. She was still deep in sleep, blissfully unaware of the disaster unfolding.

"Guys," I hissed, his voice low but sharp. "Tum log yahan kya kar rahe ho?"

Ritika smirked, crossing her arms. "Arre, yeh toh humein aapse poochhna chahiye. Aap log yahan kya kar rahe ho? Rule book padha tha ya bas 'wife privileges' ke chakkar mein bhool gaye, jiju?"

"Rules are never my thing when it comes to her" I said sharply, leaving them speechless.

"What did we just say last night?" Ritika asked, ignoring my words, her hands firmly on her hips. "No sneaking around!"

"It's not what it looks like," I said, carefully moving my arm from around Shivani, trying not to wake her. "We just slept here by mistake. So bas chup raho, okay? Tum logon ko toh bas gossip chahiye."

"Gossip?" Rakshit said, feigning shock. "Bhai, yeh toh breaking news hai! Competition ke sabse bade rivals ek hi bed pe pakde gaye? Isse zyada masala kahaan milega?"

"Rakshit, main maar dunga," I warned, sitting up slowly. "I'm leaving. Don't even think about waking her up with your noise. And for the record, we didn't talk about the competition. Aadhi raat ko dance ke steps thodhi sikhaunga usse, especially after spending the whole day trying to stay away from her," I added, frustrated, not realizing I was giving them more ammunition.

"Toh aap hamari Shivani ko kya sikha rahe the, jiju, aadhi raat ko?" Ritika asked with a smirk. I faked a cough, avoided answering, and walked out of the room.

Just as I stepped out, I saw Vivek emerging from the room next to ours. Akansha was warning him to stay away from Anvi until the sangeet. Clearly, he'd done the same thing I had.

Our eyes met, and we both widened them in realization. "You too?" we asked in unison, then nodded knowingly at each other.

"I didn't expect this from you, sir. You broke the rules?" he said, pretending to look disappointed.
